It is less than 15 minutes away from Waverley station and central Edinburgh's many major attractions. This fine dining restaurant and bar is elegantly decorated and boasts a glorious selection of wine, using a special wine dispenser to ensure that the taste is not spoiled after opening a bottle and pouring a glass. A sommelier is on hand to assist you in pairing an appropriate ones to best complement your food. A few highlights from the carefully-chosen menu are: marinated Mediterranean vegetables with freshly baked bread, ravioli with chef’s special filling, queen scallops with sundried tomatoes and asparagi alla Milanese. All impart a singular flavour that everyone has come to associate with Italy’s gastronomic legacy.

I stumbled across this restaurant online in the search for a pre-rugby match luncheon venue. Both myself and my party of four were impressed and would recommend it accordingly. Service from head waitress Josephine was faultless. Try it and make your own judgement. You will be suitably impressed like my friends and I.

Lovely feel to the restaurant although it does take a little finding. Service was almost too quick for the first course, although it became more relaxed and leisurely for subsequent courses. Food was good but not outstanding. Very limited pasta choice which was surprising for an Italian restaurant.

We enjoy our meal and wine. The staff were very friendly especially as we had Italians in our group.

I enjoyed my dining experience very much and would definitely go back , the restaurant has a lovely ambiance , We had a slight mix up with our starters but it was dealt with quickly . I have also eaten in some of this restaurants other venues in Edinburgh and the standard of food is excellent throughout

Excellent atmoshere and good selection of wines. However glasses of wine were extremelly overpriced comparing to ordering the same wine in bottle. The food was nothing special at all. So I recommend the place just for a good bottle of wine and nothing more.
