Little last minute booking for my wife’s birthday. Had amazing food had prawn pil pil to start and a pie for mains both was amazing large portions very full but managed to squeeze a dessert to share the guy working on the bar was very attentive knew what he was talking about with the wines. Overall very good meal and drinks would defo visit again

Took anyone at least 5 minutes to even speak. When we got seated at the table, I ordered a cider and was never asked which one I wanted just brought a pint of apple cider. The food not good at all. My partner had a beef burger - it had burger sauce on which it never said on the menu. I had a chicken Caesar burger - was ok not the best taste at all. We quickly got the bill and left as we had no want or need to be in there very longer. Disappointed with our first time coming off a recommendation from a friend

Lovely bar/restaurent with an excellent cocktail menu, attentive staff and catered brilliantly for gluten free dietary requirements. Nice ans trendy interior, clearly popular with the locals and top quality food served. A little on the expensive side, but worth every penny for us. I would definitely go back again and recommend to others- a lovely little gem!

Ordered 2 beef roast dinners. The meat was tough, the veg was hard, the Yorkshire pudding was burnt, the roast potatoes tasted as though they were cooked from frozen, and the cauliflower cheese was burnt and hard and tasted almost soapy. It took an hour for our starter to come. I would excuse this if it was busy but it wasn’t. The dinners are almost £19 each. Definitely not worth it and feel as though I’ve wasted my money. Wont be going back.

First class Sunday roast, good service. This was my third visit and have never been dissatisfied.

Fair menu. Very long service time. Elements of dish omitted, didn’t realise until returning home. Overpriced for food amounts and quality.

We dined here last month, had a lovely experience I couldn’t not leave a review. Our waitress was called Charlotte and she couldn’t do enough for us, and the food was gorgeous. To top it all off the pub is lovely inside and definitely somewhere you want to keep returning to.

Dined here with my daughter and partner for lunch at the weekend, staff were lovely and so good with my little girl. I had the seabass, it was delicious, nicest meal I’ve had out in a long time. My parter had the pie, which he said was the best pie he’s ever had! Overall we’re very excited to go back, I’ve heard great things about the roast so hopefully we’ll be in on a Sunday in the near future :)
