   Sorry about the negative scores, but I am required to rank before leaving a comment. We booked on OpenTable and received a confirmation, but on arrival found the door closed and a sign indicating that the kitchen was closed for maintenance. I am glad that we were on our own and had not booked for friends as the situation could have been embarrassing. Please ensure that information is current and that a reservation actually reserves something. Maybe the food is good. We crossed College to Sotto Voce and had a good meal.

   Visited DOMA intending to try the tasting menu, but once arrival we were told it wasn’t offered ( not sure if it’s gone forever or just summer). Service and food was great, the food is an awesome fusion of French and Korean. The dishes are all sharing style, we were a party of two and ordered 5 dishes.

   Read pots of good things so finally decided to go for my friend's birthday. Went on a sleepy Thursday night. Place was quite empty. Ordered the salmon, pork belly, beef tartar, duck confit and chicken thigh. Overall not expensive but still a poor value considering the portion size. The meat were smothered in sauce so it was a bit sweet and saucy for me.

   I would normally give Doma a significantly higher rating, as this is not my first time there, and I did enjoy the food. However, it annoyed me that they are no longer doing the tasting menu, but did not update their website or give any information as such. This is not to say that the quality of their food was poor; it's just that it's disconcerting to go with one experience in mind, and arrive to a very different experience. For a restaurant with Doma's credentials, that's a bit disappointing.

   Chef Paul Kim's attention to detail and passion for Korean cuisine shines through with every bite. Courses are plated elegantly, with a simplicity in mind that highlights the ingredients of each dish in the best way possible. Chef Kim has created a thoughtful, innovative, and flavourful presentation of French-inspired Korean cuisine - And at $65 pp, it's an affordable culinary journey you can't find anywhere else in Toronto. Worth every penny! I highly recommend Doma for any sort of occasion. We came to celebrate my partner's 30th and considered ourselves very lucky to have found such an intimate, ambient and quiet restaurant. Doma is a beautiful gem that I will be coming back with every menu change. If you love Korean food like we do and are looking to expand your tastebuds, Doma is the place to be. Also, don't forget to try the cocktail list - delicious, aromatic, and packed full of Korean flavours! We tried Next Generation, Bloor Line, Hail to the Kim, and The Antidote! $13 each. Worth it!!! Overall, I can't thank Chef Paul Kim and the Doma team enough for making our evening truly special. We were also able to chat with Chef as he served and explained to us each course - another lovely personal touch! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Celine and Connor W.

   Delicious tasting menu. I would go back again. Portions are smaller but for the price still worth it.

   Great little secret location around the corner in Littly Italy. The vibe is cosy. Would love to see some wall art! The music wasn't too loud. Great naturally lit dining space. For a Tuesday night dinner, we had a few tables of guests for company in the space. We were served by Paul Kim himself. He described every dish as they came. Would love to see how the menu evolves with the seasons'. The servings had a strong Korean influence but with a total modern twist and lovely presentation. I'd recommend this place for a romantic dinner or a memorable and comfortable dining experience.

    The restaurant was fairly quiet, but it was a Tuesday night and is a smaller restaurant. The menu cocktails were prepared well, but keep in mind that the liquor selection is not as deep as larger restaurants, so ordering less common drinks are not recommended. Visual presentation was very good, but some of the course portions were a bit too small. The mains (duck and lamb) were reasonable in size for the price, very well prepared and evenly cooked sous vide. Definitely the best parts of the meal. Overall a good experience and well worth the $65 for a 7 course tasting menu.
