DOPO, meaning 'after' in Italian, is an intimate dining experience in the lower level of Elizabeth Square in Marda Loop, Calgary. Inspired by D.O.P, its predecessor restaurant, DOPO has been reimagined by Executive Chef, David Leeder and Owner, Tony Migliarese. With strong opinions from Mamma Rose, of course.

Highly recommended! As part of our tradition to celebrate our anniversary at an Italian restaurant, we chose Dopo based on its great Google reviews and the inviting atmosphere in the photos—and we were not disappointed! We were truly impressed by the cozy and charming ambiance, the unique and absolutely delicious food, and, most of all, the warm and professional service. Every staff member was wonderful, and I’d like to give a special thank-you to Joshua for his kindness and outstanding hospitality. Thank you, Dopo—we’ll definitely be back!

10/10 outstanding service, food, and ambiance. The original DOP has been preseverd and breathes even more new energy into thier new location. The vibe is 10/10 the food excellent always.

The food is fabulous but service is lacking! Our server took away our appie plates without even asking if we were finished so we lost half of our ricotta and meatball sauce for our bread, we were given our bill at the same time as a fresh refill of wine and told “no rush” but then they came back for us to pay and again said “no rush but the next people are here for the table”. We felt rushed and not relaxed the whole time. However, the food was delicious!

Sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent — attentive without being intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the panzanella salad, which was fresh and vibrant. The mushroom raviolo was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The lamb was one of the best dishes I’d ever tasted! Sooooo amazing! Broccolini wasn’t cooked quite enough and was tough/chewy but the rest of our orders made up for it! Highly recommend!

Our first visit to DOPO was wonderful! The food and the service was exceptional. Our party of four shared two plates of each course selected by our server. Every bite was amazing. We hope to go back again soon!
