Booked for a 1:30 reservation. Received a text asking to confirm my reservation. Confirmed. Showed up to said reservation and restaurant was closed. Look at google at it says they don’t open until 2pm. Go back at 2:15pm and it was still closed. Came back an hour after that and it was still closed. Called multiple times with no answer.

We got to the restaurant 5 mins before our reservation and the place was locked up. We tried all the doors, even tried to see if there was a back entrance. I called the number provided and it was a voice recording then went to a voice mail box that was full. Place looked shuttered 😩

The restaurant was closed when we arrived. There were several other people standing around outside as well. Apparently there was no longer a brunch service. We had to scout around for another place downtown.

Google said they opened at 10am, we had an 11am brunch reservation. We got there around 10:50am and the doors weren’t open, no worries maybe they opened at 11am. So we waited and 11am rolled around and nobody opened the doors, then I tried to call and nobody answered the phone. We waited till about 11:10am then left and went elsewhere. Not sure what happened but won’t be returning or recommending.

I had a reservation walked in all the tables were taken with like two or three people while I had 6 people and they just had us sit wherever outside mean while they could of filled up tables with groups of two, the food was cold and they barley had food , we waited 30 min before anyone acknowledged us at the table outside.

They ran out of champagne while advertising bottomless mimosas. Take that as you want.

First I would like to say the hours have changed but they have not changed on open table. I booked our reservation for 11am weeks before. Then an hour before I get a email stating that my reservation was modified to 12:30pm. Apparently now they open at 12:00for brunch. I must say I haven’t been to Ember in about a yr or 2. Now they are searching your purses asking for Id. Which I am ok with but was caught off guard with it. Then I paid $55 for food and drinks. I feel the quality of the food is not good anymore. The alcohol tasted watered down. I usually would be feeling something after 2 drinks I had like 5 and nothing. I can say the waitress was very nice the staff is very polite. The music was great but just a little to loud where you could not hold a conversation and really hear what each other was saying. I must say Ember use to be one of my favorite spots but now I probably will not be returning.

Sad, Ember is a shell of its former self. The staff was not responsive after 20 min with no one coming by our table we left. This use to be one of my favorite spots in Orlando when I was younger. I miss the days of Katie OBrians.

Everything went very well even with the rain. I do feel like it took a long time to refill the food when it ran out. Also I found it weird to have no meat options for the omelet station. Everyone wanted some type of meat in their omelet, but that wasn’t an option. But overall everything was good. However, there was a lady allowed in with a small dog she carried in. While I could understand her being allowed if it was regular dining, but it was a buffet. I did not get anymore food after I saw her walk in. She was holding her dog in her arms, and then allowed to get food. That is disgusting and should not be allowed. Also there was no hand sanitizer at the buffet station. Just some things that should be adjusted. I did not want any food after that lady came in carrying her dog. Thank you.
