   This was my second visit in 2 weeks and I recommended it to several other people. The staff is great. Friendly and attentive. The brisket sliders, Brussel sprouts and turkey meatballs with the tri-color cauliflower are worthy of repeats. Really delish!!! Don’t fall for the sampler platter (3 fork fulls of pasta/shrimp and an equally paltry and lackluster presentation of beans/rice, skimpy chicken tender and peppers) for $26!!!! This was disappointing in presentation and poor value for money. Otherwise a nice neighborhood spot worthy of a regular visit!

   A fun neighborhood restaurant with some really good and unique dishes (harissa carrot sliders, Brussels sprouts, burger, chicken picatta meatballs !!), really good cocktails and an interesting wine offering. The ambiance is modest and not all the dishes are hits (charred leeks were a disappointment), but this place hits far above its weight and the people are lovely.

   Really enjoyed the Sunday night pasta dinner! We’ve also been here previously and ordered off the main menu. The appetizers, the entrees, the cocktails, the desserts, and everything else about Fedwell is special.

   Fedwell is a lovely addition to Upshur. The menu is seasonal and the food is delicious, one highlight is the excellent cocktails. The restaurant is kid friendly, especially the Sunday dinners when the set menu is served family-style.

   One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Started with Brussel sprouts and yarrow apps -delicious. On to Denver Steak and chicken picatta meatballs. Followed by delicious carrot cake. all fresh, portions were good. Artwork in the back by Rob Weiss is available for purchase and should not be missed.

   I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had a more stressful dinner at a restaurant. We, and the table next to us, left after being there over 2 hours in which we still hadn’t received our dessert - despite staff asking us about our dessert choices and if we’d received it four times. Service was a nightmare. Some staff were running around panicking all night long, while others, including the person who took our order and never checked in or spoke to us again, were visibility standing in the back all night. Staff kept coming out of the kitchen with dishes for the wrong tables, then instead of giving them to the next table over who said they were theirs, would return them to the kitchen where they’d sit for 20 minutes before coming out again cold. Some people got their food 30 minutes before their partners. You could also hear the staff shouting at each other in the kitchen. To top it all off, one of the staff’s children roamed the restaurant all night bothering tables, distracting staff, and at one point we saw her preparing desserts. This was really not appropriate (or legal?). (Also this had been explicitly advertised by the restaurant as a night away from our children!) We understand that valentines is a big night and this was likely more people than you are used to accommodating, but this seemed like a restaurant that had been opened four days, rather than four months. We want to support the restaurants in our neighborhood, but this did not leave us wanting to return…

   Atmosphere was fairly noisy with a lot of kids in an open layout restaurant. Service was slow and sloppy but the owner said they hadn’t been prepared to be as busy as they were. The food was pricy but delicious. We had the burger and the Whiskey Drink.

   nice newer petworth restaurant. server was competent, friendly snd genuine. food and drinks were lovely.

   Excellent food and service. Kids ate everything on their plates (a shocker), and they had a nook with activities for kids that kept them occupied the entire time. Will definitely return!
