   This was our second time dining at Flora. The food and service were excellent. The fish and seafood dishes were particularly good. The vitello tonnato (thin sliced veal in anchovy cream) was great, as was the tuna tartare and the linguine with pecorino and caviar. The chef has a sure hand with fish and seafood, and the flavors were bold and inventive.

   Had a lovely birthday evening except... hostess tried to seat us at a table in the main pathway by the ktichen. Asked for another table and were seated at the far, outside wall. Even at that, the restaurant filled up and was very noisy. Hard to hear. This was not my first time there. One of my guests was an architect who commented on the noise level and what the hotel should have done when designing the space. Service was very good as was food. I will go back but not in season when the restaurant is likely to be full and noisy.,

   Food was outstanding! Service average. Tables are very close so very congested. Fairly noisy. A beautiful setting with great food, though.

   Outstanding food in a lively but quaint setting. Beautiful views! Our server was very good but may have been a little newer perhaps. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant and would come back.

   The view was very good and the service and food was also very good. The noise level with the bar being right in the room was a little high. Our servers were very personable.

   Great waiter, great drinks, great food! Great experience! I can’t say enough about how much my husband and I enjoyed the food and entire experience at this restaurant. It’s a must stop for any visit to Newport, RI. You won’t be disappointed!

   Had a wonderful evening… only difficulty was hearing … first in the bar with three women shouting to the point where we couldn’t hear each other … and later in the restaurant with 2 large tables of women all talking at once … It was a bit chilly in the restaurant when we arrived but the staff corrected it shortly after we arrived
