Cedar House Pub is located within the beautiful Granlibakken Tahoe resort and is open to guests and anyone looking for a great meal. It is known for its gastro pub menu prepared by our Food & Beverage Director Jeff Powell. Indoor and seasonal outdoor seating available or surprise your family with a delectable to-go dinner. We offer many dining options for those with specialized dietary needs, kids menu, delicious desserts and a tempting cocktail menu.

A great atmosphere awaits you in Cedar House Pub, featuring a warm wood fire in the winter months, a well stocked bar, and large windows looking out into Granlibakken's quiet, private valley which is surrounded by fir trees and pines.

Our Cedar House Deck is open seasonally. Breakfast buffet served daily in GranHall.

When you have a difficult time finding a reservation somewhere this hidden gem can usually accommodate you. Located on The Westshore by Tahoe House bakery this restaurant is steeped in history. Their “build your own” salad is big enough for four people! The minestrone really hit the spot. Salmon with shrimp outstanding. Service very attentive.

We waited for 20 minutes to be seated. We waited for 15 minutes to give our drink orders. We left after 20 minutes after our drinks never came. We never had a chance to order food.

Carlos! He was the best, we had a great dinner started with burrata, salmon and steak ended with ice cream. Cocktails were well made. Carlos was our server and he made it all happen!

We have been wanting to try this place for years the pictures on social media make it look more elegant than it actually is. There are no white tablecloths. It looks larger in the pictures but it is rather small. The servers ALL seemed not to understand orders from many we observers. I had noted in my online reservation that we would like a great table since we were celebrating our 35th anniversary. It sss not mentioned to us once. Every server was literally running to tables and rushing people. We were raised to order our meals before even being asked for a drink first. We were told there were “many orders tonight.” It was just an odd observance to watch the staff run about. Wish the Olympic circles were still hanging to at least make it look vintage classy. No inside bar was seen as seen in many pictures. Food was good but not fantastic. Big portions. Steak was not cooked medium as asked. The make your own salad was a good deal though. We really were hoping for a more elegant dining night but instead we got a diner with funny people watching observing the flustered staff.

Although there weren’t many people when we dined, the servers Luka and Victoria were outstanding. They were funny and entertaining which added fun to the overall venue experience

Loved our experience here, casual atmosphere off the beaten path in Tahoe City We enjoyed Seasonal cocktails, dinner specials , we loved Picanha Steak and Chicken schnitzel , made our own salad , our dessert was very good, attentiveness of everyone working there . They are dog friendly

One of the best burgers I think I’ve had in years… The venue is out in the beautiful trees and surroundings of Lake Tahoe. I love this place
