Overall an OK experience but not exceptional. Service was a bit slow even though the restaurant was not full. Everything is a tad overpriced for what you actually get. Might come back to try lunch at some point.

At first forced to wait at bar for my table to be ready but upon entering there were penty of open tables. when ordering a5 wagyu staff only allow their reccomendation of medium rare temperature becuase of the steak being served on a hot stone. Then after ordering given the brioche app for free without knowing why. Once it took an extended period of time I saw why they gave free bread since it would take longer than an hour to get our meal. Then the chef gave every single sauce on the menu which is priced at around 5-6$ for free which I guess was another please forgive us card. Once checking the "hot stone" it was barely hot as I could keep my hand on it no issue. because of this the server's reason for ordering only medium rare to allow it to cook to what temperature I wanted was a complete lie. trying to force myself to eat it I found myself physically sick and just had to pay the bill and get out. wasted 300$. I will just buy the same steak from specialty buchers around nyc and cook it to my prefered temperature. never coming back.

Melt in your mouth beef!!! Amazing from start to finish Korean fusion! Excellent service and ambience. Definitely will return for more.

A Culinary Dream Come True at Gui! My recent visit to Gui was an absolute revelation, and I'm still savoring every moment of what was a truly unforgettable meal. Meeting the incredibly talented Chef Sung was a highlight, and his passion for exceptional cuisine shines through in every dish. The food itself was nothing short of spectacular. The prime rib is an absolute must-get—perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. We also indulged in the crisp and refreshing Caesar, the delicate and vibrant tuna tartare, and the rich wagyu dumplings. But the star of the show, for me, might have been the decadent wagyu and caviar sandwich – a true symphony of flavors. Every sauce and every side dish complemented the main courses beautifully, showcasing the kitchen's attention to detail. And the black and white pudding? I will genuinely dream of it tonight, and likely for the rest of the week! It was a masterpiece of texture and taste that left a lasting impression. Gui isn't just a meal; it's an experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of Chef Sung's brilliant creations.

Good experience overall for a fairly newly opened steakhouse. Overall would recommend as a place to try that's truly a unique Korean steakhouse (not a tabletop grilling experience!)

The food and service were absolutely amazing! I sat at the bar, the bartender took excellent care of me. I asked a lot of questions and he had all the answers! I ordered some raw bar and the prime rib, everything was absolutely delicious. The raw bar was fresh, sweet, and briney! The prime rib melted in my mouth - the au jus and the horseradish cream were insanely good! Then I ordered mushrooms and a bone in ribeye to go! This steak was excellent as well! Cooked to an outstanding mid-rare it was seasoned perfectly, succulent, and delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be back! It’s pricey, but name a steakhouse that isn’t?! This place is great for pre or post theater meals, or just hanging out for happy hour!

A table of women came in and the place was empty. They were so loud and rude we asked to live. The staff was very accommodating and understood but why did you sit the table on top of us when the place was empty? Food was great, waiter was great, upper management was less than great.
