Given that Harlod Black is a cocktail bar, the age requirement for entering is 21.

Harold Black is a warm, intimate bar that is quiet enough to hear your conversation yet lively enough to keep you talking. A list of house cocktails gives you a range of options; additionally, the bartenders are ready to work their magic if you have something else in mind. Harold Black serves the same menu as Acqua with a couple of pub-style additions. Please be aware of a few house rules: 1. We look forward to having you join us and are happy to hold your table for up to fifteen minutes. 2. Your booking reserves your seats for 2 hours. 3. Due to our small size we cannot guarantee booth seating. 4. Our maximum party size is six people, no exceptions, and unfortunately we cannot book multiple tables for one group. To buy out Harold Black for a private event or book our private dining room, please email events@haroldblack.com. A Labor of Love fee of 3% is added to all checks to support employee benefits.

The bartenders are wonderful, friendly and engaging. Quality service from seating to eating. Cozy enough to be romantic or with a group. Could order food from upstairs or bar menu. Drinks are good and known for expresso martini. Love all the decor details for ambience with you sit at the bar or booth. Definitely try the dessert sampler!!!!

Little blonde girl stared at the the entire time I drank my espresso martini and it made me very uncomfortable.

Always a great time here! Great drinks, good service, and great food. Never have we been disappointed when dinning and drinking at Harold Black. The basement speak easy with exposed brick and antique lighting is the perfect date night!

First let me say that I've gone a few times to this Harold Black and even the old one down in DC before it closed. This by far was the worst experience. The ambiance has changed and it's now almost like a regular college bar. Way too loud music and adjacent conversations. The drinks are mid at best. Service was decent but everything else was standard bar setup, not the true speakeasy vibe. It's an interesting place to check out once now but I would never recommend going again.

One of my favorite restaurants in Annapolis! Always so delicious! They made the best espresso martinis. I love going here for a date night.

Just not a speakeasy - music and conversation WAY too loud. The table of 6 right next to us tried to outshout each other the entire time we were there (2 hours). Perfect table service from Riley. Otherwise, a very commendable bar/restaurant

Very cool spot underground. A little hard to find. Food was insanely expensive for Valentine's Day dinner. Prices look more normal on the regular menu. Recommend for beer and burger, but not for a holiday like VD or Thanksgiving, etc. If you're going to pay $55 for an entree, then go to a proper high end place and enjoy a beautiful view of Annapolis!
