Second time here in past few weeks. Food, both hot and cold, and service excellent. They are trying hard to please and retain new customers. My only criticism is that in the 2 times we visited, the AC is too cold.

The food was excellent however, the hostesses sat us at three terrible tables before finally getting us to a normal table despite the fact the restaurant was basically empty. The first table was in the bar (why would someone with a reservation want to sit in the bar). The second table was under a freezing cold vent that was blowing our clothes and just another totally bad location. The third table was not nearly as bad, but one of the only booths in front of the sun so lacking ambiance. The fourth table worked and had ambience and nice lighting. It just seemed very odd like they were trying to place us in a bad location and we had to look like the crazy people. I didn’t appreciate that. After that experience, the waiter was great and the food was excellent. Not sure if we will be back.

The food is excellent and very upscale Japanese cuisine. The restaurant has been decorated beautifully. Noise level bouncing off the walls is high. Troublesome for me was that I made the reservation noting our 50th wedding anniversary with our names. The hostess greeting us at the front saw this on her screen and confirmed it. Yet, there was no other recognition of our event. Why ask if you are not going to do anything? My wife asked for some extra sauce for her lamb dish, and they did not forget to charge us an extra $3. This is a new restaurant (7 months) and they should be paying attention to garner increased local clientele. Food- excellent. Customer service- meh.

VERY COLD INSIDE Nice resturant in all other regards. Staff very friendly, good service, %ood food. Will return, but, not in shorts.

Ordered Suraci Dan as the primary dish it did not initially come with the Uni as advertise, which is the highlight of that dish. It is a $65 dish and although the manager went back to get some Uni on the plate, it was much less than the original dish that I’ve had several times before it was very disappointing as I’ve paid a significant amount for their premier dish

First time visit. On ambiance and food quality alone - we'll be back. Would have preferred a little more attentiveness from our waiter, but I had heard some reports of slow service prior to our visit and those concerns rang true. Not horrible - just seemed forgotten for periods of time. In the end, the food was great (we did sushi and some specialty rolls) with a bottle of wine - good, option with Sauvignon Blanc Ghost Block (2x retail, so not bad on price) - he forgot our seaweed salad and offered to remove it from the invoice. Some minor kinks as this new high end Japanese restaurant finds it stride, but definitely worth a return visit and a second look at this impressive menu.
