Bringing a touch of Bollywood glamour to Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street is The Indian Gallery, a Tandoori with a difference. With a sensuous monochrome interior, lighting effects for a dramatic vibe, dark wood floors, glass balustrades and swagged window dressings the look is part retro-theatrical part future-Bollywood. With highly skilled chefs manning the kitchen expect the very finest in modern and traditional Indian and Asian cuisine. A selection of curries ranging from well known hot dishes to milder specialities, encompassing vegetables, fish and meats plus a glorious selection of both European and Eastern starters and desserts. Good food and prompt service. No problems with any of the dishes. Only minor complaint is that the tables are really quite close together, and it would be nice if we could have been spread out a bit, particularly as the restaurant was not full.

Great location of a place I've walked past for years and finally only just tried. Food was pretty good all in all, but I'd not have said the best Indian in the city for the price etc. Little place like this should be mobbed for pre-theatre down to its location but I suppose it must not be for a reason. Would recommend trying it, but many other places offering knock out Indian so would only advise if you're close by and hungry.

I had fresh white trainers on and the guy serving stood on them and got them dirty. Took a drink out the straw they gave me for my drink and it had a hole in it and went down my top. Absolute terrible service tbh, won't be back.

I have no complaints about the food or the service both of which were good. In my opinion it was slightly expensive in comparison to other Indian restaurants in Glasgow.

There are many Indian restaurants in Glasgow and whilst the food was good here the value for money was not. The same meal in other places (at the same quality or better) would have cost about £20 less... Will not be returning unfortunately.

We have been to this restaurant since its opening. We live in Lowestoft and when we visit Glasgow we always visit the Indian Gallery. They make you feel special and recommend dishes that best suits yourself. I can't eat too hot a dish but they cook it to your liking. Nothing is too much trouble. Worth visiting you won't be disappointed.

We are not local to Glasgow so went on the quality of reviews. Indian gallery was a good pick. The food was good and there were good veggie options across the menu. Service was polite and helpful but not slick. The food wasnt a bargain. It didn't make a difference to the enjoyment of the evening however and we would go back when next in the area.
