Would love to see a regular salad on the menu. Lots of gluten free dishes but not many dairy free items.
As someone that can’t eat dairy and didn’t want spicy food, I did not find many options.
Food is very good . Presentation is very good.
Decor is very good. Well designed with acoustic absorption all around , which keeps the noise at a good level.
As they know, location behind a gas station is strange, but this place is always very good.
everything was great food, service and just a wonderful experience
Food amazing! Everything amazing!
Only suggestion - either bigger tables or smaller plates.
The food was excellent, however both my friend and I were very turned off by the fruit fly served to her in her drink. The staff did apologize and take the drink from the bill but we were justifiably cautious with our entrees and would have probably gotten more cocktails if that didnt happen. If not for the questionable cleanliness of the bar area the entire experience would have been stellar. Also, I personally enjoyed the music but the volume could have been lower and mess "club like"
The food was amazing. Great customer service. It was my second time their and it didn’t disappoint !!
The food was great! Service was good, but they needed to be asked to clear the table in between courses..The prices were moderate to high, but the portions were generous...just NO FREE Refills on Iced Tea....Overall, very enjoyable..
Found this restaurant on Open Table while looking for somewhere to take my husband for his birthday; so glad I stumbled upon it.
Firstly, the pretzel bread they give you is delish. It comes with a mustard butter which I was very iffy about, but it was very good. My husband hates mustard and kept eating it as well.
For an appetizer, we got the zuppa da clams; one of the best white broths I’ve ever tasted.
For our entrees, my husband had their honey-stung chicken; it was fried chicken dipped in a delicious sauce with the perfect amount of heat , with white cheddar mashed potatoes and confetti vegetables. I had short rib ravioli in a truffle cream sauce. We both literally ate every bite off of our plate.
For dessert we shared the fried Oreos and cinnamon sugar donuts, which were served perfectly warm.
Absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious night out!
Just is a fine restaurant. The food was outstanding. I loved the poached pear salad. The entrees were perfect in every way. The short rib ravioli was great and so was the gluten free pizza.
The food choices were pretty interesting. I liked the options. I wish the server had more knowledge about the menu. I didn't choose an option because it was garlic based and chose another option. That one was full of garlic, too, and I had to switch with my husband. On top of that, the service was scarce. It was really slow, even in the beginning when the restaurant wasn't full. I'm not sure if we'll go back.
The only redeeming quality is the bartender. She was amazing and personable. We stayed at the bar after our dinner, and she made us feel welcome.
Food is always great and delicious. The staff is pleasant and extremely attentive. One of my favorite places to eat .
The food is superb which is why we are return consumers and don’t mind that it can be pricey.
Just is a great restaurant that is local and qualified to be in the city. However, there were a few issues. Frist of all it is behind a BP gas station and VERY hard to find. Then we get a table which for the type of restaurant and pricing was extremely small. Then I tried to order drinks and as for three different drinks and they didn't have any of the liquors. Why have a bar. We settled on wine. Then came the food and everything was great. I would go back, but with lower expectations. No drinks and I now know where to go.
I like a leisurely service, but this was a little bit too slow. Much too much time waiting in between courses and especially after dinner to even get dessert menus. A 3 hour dinner for 4 people is just a little too long.
I also thought that the music was too loud. For the prices you are paying, I thought the atmosphere was much too noisy. I wanted a more quiet dinner.
I booked a table through OpenTable and when I got to the restaurant was told I still had to wait 25 minutes. When asked where we could wait, we were told either at this hostess station, where there were no seats or out in the vestibule. I inquired if there was a bar area, and was directed there. We were totally forgotten about until I went back and asked about our table and was finally seated. The worst part was that OpenTable contacted me and asked why I was a no show!
Christine was wonderful!!!
It’s a hidden gem. The food is different than the normal local restaurants in the area. It’s Manhattan style restaurant conveniently located
Great food and service. Just what we were looking for!
Staff was very helpful and the food was remarkable. Have already recommended this establishment to numerous friends and family.
Great ambiance and food.
We celebrated my wife’s birthday and had a really great time. The service was top notch and the food and drinks were fantastic as always.
Not really for special occasions anymore. Used to be a classy restaurant and now it is a everyday restaurant. Used to have a good intimate environment, but it also changed. The attention to details which was always something that would differentiate from other restaurants is gone. Unfortunately. Food is still good.
First time at Just , food was excellent. I had the pear salad and the short rib ravioli and it was delicious. Service was great our server David was very friendly . I will definitely come back again .
Just is a hidden gem! Food was delicious from appetizer to dessert. Service was outstanding. We will be back!
JUST was better than we expected. Arriving via the BP gas station driveway, JUST was a surprisingly lovely dining experience. The room is pretty large with a high ceiling and a TV screen with a slide show of pretty pictures. The music was ethnic and then morphed to pop during dinner. The menu is very interesting offering a wide variety of cuisines. I had a tuna poke. The nice size tuna chunks were overpowered by the spicyness, but enjoyable. One of us had the cauliflower pizza and loved it. Another loved the meatballs. I'd definitely return to try other dishes. And visit the Russian grocery store next door. That was fun!
Price is a bit high. The service is not exceptional as one would expect. The food is not bad but it takes time for the food to arrives. Location of restaurant is behind a gas station, which in kind of unusual.
Food and service were very good but there were way too many children from a large party running around screaming, screeching & ruining the evening for the rest of the dining customers. Nice way to ruin a few romantic date nights.
Tiffany and Christine , our servers, made our anniversary dinner very special! Great service and food. We enjoyed it very much!
I love JUST but this was the first time that we felt the waiter kept forgetting us . He stated he needed to brew a fresh pot of coffee but brought it out quickly and yet our desert was cold. We had to keep looking for him . We didn't say anything because the food was on point as always . He was nice but I guess had a lot of tables to attend to
We’ve eaten a Just many times and this experience was a disappointment. What happened to the fine wine glasses
We went there for my mother birthday. She had such a great time. The food, service was amazing! I do believe our waitress name is Stephanie. She was great! Even my 3 year old had a delish grilled cheese sandwich there.
She brought out the dessert sampler with candles with a card. Such an amazing touch for someone Birthday! It was great. Filet Mignon was delish my mom said perfectly cooked. The short ribs were great too and the special item on the menu seafood pasta omg! My sister was in heaven! Great place! Keep it up and will be back soon! Thank you for making our mom feel special on her 66th birthday!
The food was creative and delicious. We were disappointed in the service.
Yes I would recommend its a good restaurant John tries hard. Didn't like wine choices, and too much cayenne pepper garnish. Bathrooms are extra special. We had two specials prime rib and seafood diablo. Overall a pleasant experience
Service was sloppy one waiter took my drink order and another came back to our table about 5-10 minutes later saying that the waiter forgot what drinks we ordered. We had ordered a vodka soda and a Paloma. I had the duck tacos and the sauce on them was so sweet I couldn’t even finish one of my two tacos. Will not be coming back there are far better restaurants with competent staff and better food.
Very slow service Food was good but not great . Poor value for the money.
Been to Just a few times and the food is always very good.
Outstanding dinner, as always. Service was also excellent. The Peking duck taco appetizer, doesn’t quite displace the spicy tuna cone as my favorite, but it’s right up there. The tuna volcano was excellent. A bit spicier than I remember it, but very good. From the bar, the Irishman’s Old Fashion (I think that’s what they call it) is amazing.
First time. Referred by friends. Enjoyed plan to return .
Was not as good as past visits
I have eaten at Just many times and always enjoyed a good meal. However, this past Saturday was very disappointing and embarrassing since we brought friends who had never eaten there. Firstly, they were out of a lot of dishes—and this was at 7:00 on a Saturday night—how do you run out of salmon and steak?! I ordered one of the specials, Seafood Fra Diavalo (which is one of my favorite dishes and one I have enjoyed at many restaurants). It was inedible. Someone’s idea of Fra Diavolo is to pour cayenne pepper over everything. I nearly burned my mouth off. The service (usually excellent) was just fair! And finally, We ordered coffee and dessert and was told they ran out of artificial sweetener! How do you run a restaurant like this? It was not inexpensive, and I was highly disappointed
Everything was just wonderful as usual! All the staff is great but Joe is the best !
