La Tour was an incredible restaurant when it was open. Made reservations for Father’s Day, sadly La Tour is no longer there. They have closed down. Open Table must not have had a chance to update their app/site yet.

Absolute disaster. Who permanently closes a restaurant and keeps taking reservations for months??

Food was great. Service was fine, but nothing to call home about. We sat at the closed terrace and the noise was out of this world. We were a table of two and we were sitting on a small squared table one next to the other and I couldn’t hear my partner. Very uncomfortable

I made a reservation online. There were many time options so I picked what worked best for us. When we showed up to La Tour it was closed! There were newspapers lying outside and it looked like it might be closed for the season since all of the lights were turned off. Very disappointing!

I vote La Tour as one of the top 3 restaurants in Vail, which is a major compliment because practically every restaurant is amazing and could be the best in any major metropolitan city

We celebrated our anniversary here while in town for the Taste of Vail. Someone suggested La Tour and we are so glad we tried it. The food, drinks and desserts were absolutely incredible. This is now one of our top spots to eat in Vail. The staff were lovely and they helped create ambiance for us to celebrate next to the fireplace. Cannot wait to go back again!

We had excellent food and service at the end of a spring break trip to Vail. The duck was tasty as well as the salmon. We will be back when we next visit!

The Somelier mocked my enquiry for an infant changing mat by saying “do you not realise that this is a high end French restaurant” - he thought I was out of earshot but when I challenged him he pretended that he was referring to another guest, despite the fact that I was the only person with a 6 month old child that needed changing. It was a ridiculous and insulting comment but perhaps indicative of the overall service that we received for our party of 8 diners. Such a shame, I can recall when Latour offered a far better service and dining experience. Perhaps that’s why the restaurant was only half full at 8pm on a Friday evening.
