This fantastically French establishment in Northampton is renowned for its great food and superb wine list. Le Sacrebleu's strong red, white and blue colour scheme, polished floorboards and live entertainment have made it a popular venue for parties, and has attracted the likes of Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue and Tom Cruise. The classic French menu features favourites such as Mediterranean mussels in a tomato sauce with sautéed chorizo sausage; duck fillet roasted and served with Cointreau and orange sauce, topped with berries and served with gratins Dauphinois; and traditional frogs legs sautéed and served with butter noisette, chopped parsley and Provencale sauce.

Great menu, not trying for quantity of dishes but the range was good and the quality superb. Staff were polite and attentive. Will definitely eat there again, soon I hope! Top marks !

Not in a very pleasant location - up an alley off busy street- but well worth the effort - Food and service excellent. Very 'French'

The food at Sacrebleu is fantastic. It's not cheap, but who wants to take their significant other out for a cheap meal. We arrived when it was still light, and the decor takes a little time to warm to, but once the light levels dim, it changes into a wonderful ambiance.

We booked through an offer on site and had a fab meal at an amazing price. Great for food!

The only way people would come to this place is by recommendation, not in passing as it is hard to find from the street. At first glance the sign is above a tanning saloon which appears to have gone out of business. The resturant is actually way down a side ally entered by a black door with no sign. It is a bit of an initiatve test. Once in, all is good. Although there was only one other table with customers there the whole time, so quite empty & therefore lacking a little atmosphere for a Saturday night. Service & food was very good. Well worth the effort in finding how to get in!.

This is a little French gem tucked away in Northampton city centre; the owner is really friendly and the whole ambience is just like a French bistro. The food would have got 4 stars but my soup was rather under seasoned but that is being a little picky and should certainly not put anyone off. It is a lovely place to go.
