Les Sablons is a fabulous restaurant with lovely people serving extraordinary food. I took my 19-year old almost-adult granddaughter to Les Sablons as a special treat. We both love French food and hoped this new restaurant would be good. We wanted to try as many things as possible. So we each ordered three courses and tasted each other's. Every single dish was wonderful. Our only problem was that we'd ordered too much, of course. But Les Sablons took care of that with a little brown box, graciously, and without a single raised eyebrow at us, and we went home with us for a next-day treat. I'm gushing. I know. Can't help it. As soon as I've lost five pounds and saved up the funds I'm dragging my husband there.

We have lost so many customer friendly fine restaurants in Harvard Square. Finally I have found something to replace them. I love this place. The food is fabulous. The waitstaff couldn't be finer and the ambience is perfect. This place is a gem and I hope they stick around.

We wanted a quiet nice place to enjoy each other's company and have a good meal. Les Sablons exceeded my expectations. The food was interesting and scrumptious, beautifully served, and the wait staff was very pleasant It's hard to find a place with delightful ambience, exceptional food, and pleasant wait staff that is quiet enough to talk and relaxing. The architecture and art are fascinating and add so much to the delightful atmosphere.

Seasonal dishes, beautifully prepared, elegantly present. Interesting cocktails, that could also be customized. Very attentive staff.

What more to say? Good bartending with creative drinks, inventive seasonal dishes expertly prepared, prices not too crazy; and in a great space.

Just a lovely experience all around. Whoever designed the space is a genius. It is a perfect blend of casual and elegant. We had heard the brunch was wonderful and it was. My eponymous cocktail was quite refreshing and I would order it again. I had the lobster hash and it also was something I would order again. The dish was rather salty but perfectly cooked and sumptuous.

love this place, so unfortunate it closed. the best ambiance ever, feels intimate, high class, european, dreamy, right in the middle of the square. Food is OK, rather creamy and heavy and sugary/filling/overdone desserts.

NEAR PERFECTION! The ONLY complaint is that the music was overpowering and unnecessary- It also does not at all match the ambience. I know every "cool" restaurant wants to portray itself as "hip" by playing hip hop music-- That is not the music I want to hear at Les Sablons, or anywhere for that matter.
