Unfortunately I had one of the most confronting and terrible experience on entering this venue which upset myself and my guests for the whole evening. On arriving at the restaurant one of the mangers opened the door and aggressively asked the diliveroo drive for his number. Not the best first impression for me to witness this. Then turned to my husband and asked his number.... WTF!!!! This is beyond racist but as I graciously and politely said excuse, he abusively said " not you, him" as he flipped a hand at me and pointed to my husband. I calmly explained we were customers and not staff from dilveroo!1 I was expecting an apology and that would be the end of it but oh no then aggressively he said' WELL THEN GO INSIDE AND SEE THE GIRL' with another flick of the hand. The food is good, there service of our waitress was good. But this is unacceptable for a venue I then spent over $800 in. For such a great venue I wished they employed the right staff or give them customer service training. We will never return and neither will my guests.

The taste and quality of the food was amazing. However, the portion was a bit small for the price paid for it.. Suggestion to improve on that. Otherwise, great food and service..

We have been fans of lotus for a long time. Just discovered the Double Bay restaurant. The food is magic, as is the ambiance. All dishes were great. A special mention for the king pao chicken and pepper beef.

Always a favorite Tried the cauliflower last night. Another great dish. Green beans with pork and crispy skin chicken are always our choice

Such a great find! Went for wife's birthday, the atmosphere was relaxing but not sleepy, energetic enough to feel you are outside but can still talk to each other without shouting. Service was 1st class, the same for the food. We had the banquet. Would definitely go again.

Poor service, had to ask to get menus, order drinks and then again ask to get food to which we were told the kitchen was closing but no one had come to take our order. We were also told that we’d ordered enough food and we didn’t need anymore
