When we first arrived, they didn’t have our reservation. I clearly showed it on Open Table a reservation. We were told to sit on the table outside while they tried to figure out what to do with us. Finally they sat us and were apologetic for not having our reservation. This is where it only went downhill. We sat at 7:40 and by 8:50 we hadn’t even ordered our food. The mocktails were the only highlight and quite tasty. The food menu however was challenging to navigate at best…a complete disaster at worst. Too many options, the a la carte menu had restrictions on the number of dishes you can order, they wouldn’t let us substitute one of the mains for a more pescatarian friendly option without a hefty up charge. The waiter was friendly and tried to help as much as he could but it was clear the kitchen/chef was not willing to be accommodating. We’ve been to dozens of Michelin star rated tasting menus restaurants and this was without question the worst experience we ever had. 80 min into the service and not even a piece of bread was offered. My wife was hangry and fed up with the restrictions. We left cash for the overly priced water and mocktails and just walked out. We didn’t feel welcome from the moment we arrived and would never step foot in this place again.
