A party venue on the famous Kings Road, MareMoto is a fun, relaxed venue where the service is friendly, the surroundings are fresh and the food is always good. In true neighbourhood restaurant style, MareMoto is not only popular with local shoppers and professionals but groups looking for a great night out and even the occasional football fan headed for the nearby Stamford Bridge stadium. Arrived in London after an overnight flight, anxious to settle in and explore the area and kick off the trip with a memorable dinner. The ratings on this place were very favorable and it was a very reasonable walk so I made a booking and walked on over. As we approached the restaurant we thought it odd that despite the warm night, no one was out and about and the near d we got, the darker it looked inside. Needless to say, it was closed DESPITE accepting my reservation request, DESPITE receiving an email confirmation and DESPITE the website indicating the restaurant was open. Fortunately, we found another exciting Italian restaurant a few blocks away which was terrific, but this was a significant disappointment to us. Don't know who failed us - MareMoto or Open Table.

We had a table of 6 prior to a local jazz night, we picked the restaurant because of it's location - the food was great with friendly, attentive service.

This was the fourth visit by myself and my friends. There was a warm welcome by the Maitre'D and good service throughout the meal. The food is authentic Italian and worthy of a much higher priced restaurant. Love it.

The food was uninspiring - although the service was good. The menu appeared to be overly-ambitious, with poor attempt at 'fusion' - resulting in potentially sound Italian dishes being 'skewed' to little effect. The atmosphere in the restaurant improved after dark as the décor was a little stark. Despite the relatively low price, would not return as there are lots of good (authentic!) Italian restaurants in the area

As it was a quiet day during the week the service was brilliant! The food was good and I believe this is a great find if you don't want to travel all the way into central London.

Really tasty Italian cuisine. Staff are friendly and helpful The restaurant is not overcrowded The Affogato is not to be missed!

We met some friends here for dinner. Food and service was good and not expensive. Was busy with diners when we arrived but by the end of the evening lots of young people arrived as it turns into a bit of. Club/cocktail bar in the late evening. Fun place to go but I felt a bit old by the end of the night !

I went to MareMoto for a romantic meal with my husband and Iast Saturday and was disappointment. The waiter seemed lost and didn't know some of the drinks on the cocktail menu. The food was very disappointment. My husband order the calamari and prawns which were over cooked and rubbery. My main meal was bland. I wouldn't hurry back.
