Service slow - seems the kitchen was ‘overwhelmed’ though the room was not full. Food mediocre; a burger in particular was small and ordinary - certainly not worth the money.

We have several complaints after eating in the restaurant . Firstly however as a positive the food itself was actually very nice and well presented. The service however was not on a par. Two of the group were vegans and after choosing from the menu one was told the menu had been wrongly printed and wasnt meant to say VGA! There was no offer of non dairy spread at the meal or breakfast and this had to be asked for. Surely small tubs of Flora could have been offered. One of the main courses never appeared and it transpires that it had not been ordered. The result was 3 people had finished their mains before the 4th arrived. A replacement beer was asked for 3 times and to different waiting staff and this also never appeared. At no point was an apology made or any concessions offered. We paid for the full meal as we are not in the habit of complaining but we are not at all happy with this experience.

We had a really nice meal for 2 while staying here. Scallops and black pudding to start. Steak and cod for mains. It was all really tasty. The staff were very helpful and created a nice relaxing dinning experience. After dinner we sat up stairs with drink and enjoyed the amazing veiw. Can’t wait to come back

Beautiful setting overlooking the marina a Loch Fyne beyond. The restaurant is light and airy and the service friendly and accommodating. Requests are promptly and politely attended to bu the multicultural staff. The food was good for our diner, if a little overpriced in relation to the quality, which was good but not outstanding. The wine list was good but limited. When asked for a port to accompany the nice cheese platter, none was available, although the waiter was quick to offer instead a very reasonable late harvest Chardonnay which was pleasant as a post dinner wine. For breakfast we ordered a full Scottish breakfast which again was fine but could have been served in many a roadside cafe and was nothing special, with a square slice of quite ordinary sausage meat, a segment of something passing for a potato scone and a barely reasonable slice of black pudding. Again, the service staff were fantastic and made the experience worthwhile. It just could be so much better with a little more attention to the quality of the food. We’ll be back, however because the overall experience of the resort makes it worthwhile.

Great breakfast, freshly prepared food. Good selection. Only complaint is that they need to make sure both continental food buffet and plates are replenished quickly enough for demand.

Lovely meal and a varied choice of menu. Reasonably priced food and drink. A shout out for Stephen who was very helpful and friendly during our meal.

We eat here regularly and it is always a pleasure to dine here….. the staff are friendly and helpful…. The food is always amazing I would highly recommend you try it if you are in the area.
