   The dinner was expensive, so we were expecting to have some quality food but the taste was poor and the older guys were NOT AT ALL kind, except just one boy who was young and good-looking. In terms of FADO, we really didn't think it was worth the money. You can enjoy similar Fado performances at other bars too.

   For €65 per person, this place could do much better. The ambiance is good, cozy venue with not a ton of people. It does get loud very fast and starts feeling like you’re in a night club trying to talk to others at your table. After eating around Lisbon and neighboring cities for a few days, this place had by far the worst food I had in Portugal. Food came out cold. The cod fish was oddly overcooked and chewy, served with a weird mush that almost felt like I was eating oatmeal. Fish served on a soft compote shouldn’t have as many spines as it did. The sirloin was okay, and the grilled dorada was very small. Overall everything was pretty bland. The desserts were ridiculously sweet. The only plus was a nonstop stream of wine into our cups. The fado, though we couldn’t stay for more than one session, was actually really good. My only regret was not being able to stay for more after putting up with that meal. We had been eating out for 80-100€ each night and had fantastic meals. For 195, we felt a bit ripped off. Not a place I would recommend at all, I’m sure there are other fado houses with equally impressive shows. I’d label this a tourist trap.

   They did not have a record of my booking. I had to show them it on my phone. They said that I had to pay cash as they could not take cards When I said that I didn't have enough cash a card machine miraculously appeared. The food was poor but we enjoyed the music and the surroundings

   This was a great part of our Lisbon visit. Every element - food, service, ambiance, and Fado were excellent! Truly a memorable experience!

   We had a reservation at 8:30 pm , basically there is one sitting all together , while we were being served, we were expecting to listen to the music Fado show , it did not happen. The fado players started to come in at around 9:30 but music did not started until around 1030 pm 2 hours later they would sing 3 or 4 songs then have an interval of 15 to 20 minutes and we only were able to listen to 2 fadistas. It was already 11:30 pm . So the time we spend to listen to 2 singers and the set value was not what we were expecting. By the way the food is good but the cob fish was cold and desserts are terrible . I looked at their web site and it never said anywhere that the performers will only start playing after dinner is served. I have been to other Fado restaurants and they sing while people are eating every 30 minutes or so . And they value is much better, we were also celebrating our 11 year’s anniversary and never had a compliment during our time at the restaurant.

   Amazing overall experience! F&B were great and music very entertaining. Had an initial mixup with reservation but was solved eventually. Service very friendly. Highlight of our trip for sure. Thanks

    Amazing experience; food was good, staff was helpful and kind, the restaurant is incredibly beautiful and words are not enough to describe the beauty of fado music. Very talented musicians and singers. A truly magical evening.
