Michael's On Main is situated on the banks of beautiful Soquel Creek; we invite you to come as you are, and try our new Americana fare. Our menu selections range from Burgers and Pizza, to Pistachio Crusted Salmon or Filet Mignon. We feature a daily fresh catch, always a sustainable choice, and a daily Pasta Del Mar which includes a fresh catch & assorted shellfish in a delicious sauce. We also have many tasty Vegetarian, Gluten Free, and Vegan options to satisfy your nutritional needs.
Michael’s is now open for breakfast at 6:30am Tues thru Fri. Our Breakfast Menu features express grab and go choices for the drive to work. Our extensive munchies, favorites and bar menus are always available, from 11am until closing. Dinner is served from 5pm. Sat/Sun Brunch begins at 9am
Happy Hour runs Tues-Fri from 4pm-6pm; our entire bar menu food items are 25% off; and we feature $5 Drafts, $5 House Wines, $5 Well Drinks, and $6 Margaritas, Cosmos, Lemon Drops, Appletinis & Mojitos.

Our Creekside Patio seats 85, and our Courtyard will seat 40-50 comfortably.

I love this place! I prefer the quiet evenings, so I avoid the live music nights, but food is always good and staff are friendly.

We were traveling with our dog and enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving dinner at Michaels. Service was a little slow but it was a busy time and holiday - we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless.

I usually love MOM. I will not go for a holiday again. It was out of control chaos. It was at least 30 minutes before they took our order. Our salad came fairly quickly but then we didn’t see anyone for close to an hour. Finally our waitress came to confirm our desserts. But I said we haven’t had our dinner yet. They were a mess! The food was mediocre. But I will still go on regular days. Never a holiday again!

Upon arrival they didn’t have our reservation (which is strange; because it’s clearly shown here in the app). No worries, there were tons of empty tables inside and out. In fact the please was nearly a ghost town. Food was fast, warm, and delicious.

Had reservations for 6pm. Wasn't aware that a show was going on, no big deal. Checked in with the waitress let them know we were here for dinner. Got drinks from the bar and then sat down at our table. I think we and another group were the only ones sitting inside the dining area. I'm about to finish my glass of wine and I noticed that no one has come by to ask us for water, appetizers, etc. With the show going on it occurred to me that if you weren't there for the show, good luck in getting any attention as far as ordering dinner was concerned. I don't mean to bash the place but I get it if you're short staffed. We finished our wine and still no wait staff around. We left and went to the Tampico's Mexican place next door. Much better atmosphere all around. So thanks to Michael's for not serving us dinner. We would have never found Tampico's.

I enjoy the food here - we tend to come when there is live music, so my rating of the noise level reflects that! The pistachio-crusted salmon is always a favorite, as are the quinoa cakes. Overall I would prefer the veggie sides to be a bit more cooked than they usually are - a big bowl of crunchy brussels sprouts isn't easy to get through, for example. But all in all I love this place, and am so glad it's continuing to thrive. **update: the next time I came after I first posted this review, everything was perfect: salmon not underdone, with veggies just that little bit more cooked that makes them so delicious and easy to eat (getting the tender part of tender-crisp right, not just the crisp). Thanks, Michael's!
