We like the fact that plates come in small and large sizes. All the entrees and sides we tried were very good.

Our server Rickey was excellent, so attentive and polite. Will go back just because of this customer service level.

I suggested Midwood to celebrate a coworker birthday. None of the team had been there so I felt the pressure of them enjoying it. Well, they loved it! From the cornbread to the desserts! I felt proud! I even met Buddy who was genuinely nice to me. Our waitress Amanda was terrific! It was a great experience!

Food was delicious. Our bartender, Ani, was fabulous. She made drink recommendations for our whole party. Each drink was fantastic!

After reading the numerous positive reviews of Midwood Smokehouse, we decided to sample it for ourselves. When we arrived, we requested a table rather than a booth as my husband uses a cane to ambulate and a booth quickly becomes uncomfortable. The hostess led us right to a booth and acted as though she hadn’t heard our request. My husband didn’t want to appear difficult so we sat in the booth. Within 5 minutes, a manager came to tell us she had a table available and led the way! Our waitperson quickly suggested that my husband could taste any of the beers on tap, which he did and decided upon one different than he had tasted! I ordered a glass of wine and both drinks promptly arrived chilled. I ordered the salmon which was cooked well done as I ordered. The hush puppies were hot and crispy as were the sweet potato fries. My husband enjoyed a barbecued pork sandwich with a side of baked beans which he declared were served hot and delicious. Next time we will leave room for their scrumptious desserts! We discovered a reasonably priced barbecue place that can be a lunch or dinner venue!
