Mulas occupied the former space of the Corrales Bistro, but is nothing like it. The decor is completely different, and much more elegant. Mulas has maintained the Bistro's rear deck, including the antique rotating dual fan. The menu is principally tapas and local variations on tapas. All the dishes we tried were outstanding, particularly the ceviche. In addition to wine and beer, Mulas has a full bar stocked with New Mexico distilled liquors. If you're looking for a great new Corrales restaurant, give Mulas a try. You'll be presently pleasantly surprised.

When first going to Mula’s it was lunch. Back then pricey but good. Preciously we went for dinner in late winter twice. They were still pricey but good food. In April we went for dinner and the food experience dropped. In late May we to Mula’s with another couple because that is where they wanted to go. Totally bad idea. Our table did not order appetizers but went straight to entrees. I ordered the Chimayo Alfredo and my wife ordered scallops. My Alfredo change from the previous time and the “fry bread” bore a strong resemblance to a section of pita bread. My wife and the other couple ordered scallops and the ribeye. My wife and I received our dishes first. For some strange reason I hit my stopwatch. It took 6’ 42” for the next entree of scallops and 1’20” for the ribeye. The scallops were on the small end and only four. For the price we thought the order was light. The other gentleman’s ribeye dry fatty and thin. Based upon my experience it looked more like 8 oz than 12 oz. Finally, it is so noisy it is almost impossible to carry on a conversation when more than half full. Will we go back? Never! Will we recommend, no!

Mula's is a relaxed tapas restaurant. The food is fresh, well presented and tasty. Karla, our server, was friendly, helpful and attentive. We'll be back.

Pretty disappointing Mother’s Day brunch. Service was exceptionally slow and the food was meh. They were always moving chairs and tables and then left random chairs tables everywhere. It just seemed like the experience could have been more enjoyable. I would encourage this place to just remove the pizza from the menu, it was disgusting.

We throughly enjoyed our brunch on the patio deck. The place is cute and well decorated. Anna our waitress was friendly and attentive. We went just when they opened on a beautiful Saturday morning so it was very quiet. The food is delicious and plentiful. We will definitely come back next time we come to Albuquerque ( worth the drive)

I had a wonderful time at Mula's Restaurant in Corrales, NM! The cozy atmosphere with rustic wooden decor was enhanced by fantastic live music. Our server, Salma, was attentive and friendly, while Carla, the bartender, made a refreshing Mulatini with an olive garnish that paired perfectly with the meal. The food was delicious—standouts included a breaded and fried avocado with salsa and grilled flatbread, crispy pork belly bites, savory chicken skewers with roasted veggies, creamy red chile pasta with grilled chicken, and delightful desserts like tres leches and chocolate cake with ice cream. Mula's offered great food, excellent service, and a lively vibe—I’ll definitely return!
