Everything about 5he Old Barbridge Inn was perfect, except the weather on the day which they can’t control. Great menu with enough options, fairly priced. Food was lovely. Small plates and small desserts are an excellent idea. I had a lovely pudding I wouldn’t have had otherwise. Service was outstanding in all aspects, from greeting, through delivery of food and drink, to payment. We had table with canal views. I love this place and although it was a long drive for a family meet-up, I feel sure we’ll return. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely food and excellent service which is very rare these days! Nothing was too much trouble and staff were friendly and had good product knowledge. Will be recommending!

Visited the Olde Barbridge Inn for lunch. The pub has only recently reopened after a period of closure. Food was good, with good size portions. The menu was adequate. The staff were pleasant but somewhat loud in their conversations between each other which was a little annoying. We had requested on the booking form a bowl of berries or fruit as a dessert for my husband who is a diabetic, unfortunately this wasn't read or acted upon so no dessert for my husband ☹️. The manager did pick up on this and came to apologise, saying that it was a staff training point. We have booked again for a group of seven of us to go for an evening meal where three of the party are diabetic and she has promised to deliver a dessert for them. We will wait and see then review again.

Lovely location. Food was delicious. Staff were all very friendly. A little slow but because busy. Great experience though despite slow service at first. Can't fault staff, Food or location. Thanks for a lovely birthday meal.

Lovely fish and chips and we sat outside in the garden right on the canal. Everyone very friendly and helpful.

All overcthecplacecin terms of service. We had to ask if we could order, 2 starts came out before the others meaning half the table had finished eating before the others arrived. Lack of availability on the menu the server had to come back twice to say not available. Mains average, Roast Beef donner beef over cooked, Roast Chicken poor it was tiny the waitress thought it was belly pork? She also thought the cauliflower cheese mac & cheese. Overall pricey for the quality of the food and service.

Delicious food but variation of vegetables would have been preferred rather than standard carrots and peas. The waitress was unaware of the Tuesday night deal which caused some delay.

On arrival the place was clearly busy and very short staffed. We introduced ourselves to the manageress who informed us she had given our allocated table away to another group "So have a table in the corner" not specifying which corner of the two in that general direction. After waiting for 30 minutes without being acknowledged or anyone asking if we would like a drink we decided to leave. I told the manageress this and she seemed surprised and confused as to where we were sitting.
