   Enjoyed the food and there was lots of choice. Service however, was poor. Had to ask to order desserts, then again to order coffees then again to get the bill. Not really acceptable when food is not particularly cheap.

   Another enjoyable family meal out with a fantastic view, whatever the weather. Only minor problem was the card payment system was down, sorted with minimum fuss though.

   The table was booked as a late mother's day treat, but in the end only myself and my husband were able to attend. We arrived and were greeted straightaway and showed to our table which had a lovely view of the solent. We both ordered lamb shank which was delicious, and so filling with lots of lovely veg and a yorkshire pud, that we had no room for dessert. I would definitely recommend Osborne View.

   This is a lovely restaurant. The food is always good and the staff are helpful and attentive despite usually being very busy. A firm favourite for when we have visitors!

   This is local to us so we have been before. The pub has great views over the Solent and has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Although the menu is limited there are specials and the food is good although possibly a little pricey.

   I was able to book a table here for early evening on mothers day having tried beefeater and harvester which were fully booked all day. Very pleased with the quality of service and food. Understandably some roasts had sold out but waitress was apologetic. Both courses were served in good time on hot plates which is always a good sign and they must have been very busy since midday. Reasonably priced wine and good value food. We shall return.

   There was plenty of seating for 2 people or multiple seating I went to the Osborne with my daughter for Mothers Day & it was a happy atmosphere for all. Will keep it in mind for the future. Regards A.Parker

    We went here for mother’s day, lovely roast for the meat eaters and gorgeous lentil shepherds pie for the vegan.
