Parc de Ville
Great food and service but too too noisy. Had to yell to the couple across the table and to my wife next to me.
Second visit to Parc and now planning my third! Love this place!
Dinner tonight was simply fantastic! We can’t wait to go back!
So grad to have a bit of Chez Billy Sud in Virginia. An outstanding bistro and much needed in the area.
This new restaurant in Mosaic is fantastic! and the food is incredible. There were 7 of us, we had duck, trout, salmon, a burger, steak, cheese, olives and great wine! The chefs flavors in all the dishes were delicious!
The staff as I told them were amazing. We were well taken care of!
Highly recommend Parc de Ville!!
Great place. Great food. A little noisy.
Parc de Ville has wonderful, soul-soothing French food executed beautifully by its chef. The staff has been really well-trained, so the whole experience is great. You'd never know you are in the middle of an incredibly busy area of Northern VA - more like being in a quiet corner of Paris. Will return.
Finally a good restaurant in that space.only hing is the doors to get in are too heavy.
Excellent food, good selections.best onion soup I have had in over 20 years.
Food was excellent on our first visit but maybe a little less than that this time. Could be due to our high expectations after our first visit. We'l definitely go again - great place; (potentially) great food; nice ambiance.
The place looks great! Beautiful lights, gorgeous bat, nice seating options. Service is very good with trained staff and very attentive manager. The food though was disappointing. The fries were soft and mushy, the steak VERY salty and my fish was over cooked as well as too salty. Even the bread which should be great in a French restaurant was warm but not tasty........ won’t go back:(
This time, my second at Parc de Ville, I took my husband and two other couples, all of whom raved about the food. The group’s choices covered most of the bases from steak to fish and even the cheeseburger! It’s classic French bistro food that is fairly ambitious although everyone in my group was excited about the fries. For those of you who are vegetarians, there aren’t a lot of choices, however, I recommend the home made gnocchi. The bartender has whipped up a mock tail each time even though there aren’t any on the menu....something that they may want to consider.
Will absolutely be back! Everything was delicious and the atmosphere is charming.
Worthwhile ineveryway. Wait staff and management made sure we were accommodated in every way. Food is prepared perfectly and is delicious.
Has promise. The standard French menu needs expanding and some additional specials. We ordered drinks and onion soup as starters with and duck and fish entries. All the food was very good, but our drinks arrived when we had almost finished our starters. We frequent the Mosaic District restaurants but will give Parc de Ville a month or more to mature a bit.
Service was below average. Our waiter was not capable of making food or wine recommendations
Evander was our server and he really made the night special - he described the dishes perfectly, suggested wine and accompaniments and was interesting. The atmosphere is elegant but cozy and we loved the decor and large windows surrounding the restaurant. We were celebrating our daughter’s return to the U.S. after a year and a half and the night was really special. It was our 1st visit. The food was perfectly cooked and the portions are nice. Between us we had the French onion soup, escargots en croute, boudin sausage, canard and salmon - dessert was mousse au chocolat, rice pudding and maple cake - everything was terrific! While a nice chocolate mousse is something I always look forward to when in a French restaurant, try the rice pudding and maple cake- they are special. Great experience - highly recommend.
Outstanding service at the bar. Bartenders knew their wines and could discuss them, sometimes a rarity. Food was excellent, though I'm glad we split an app, an entree, and a dessert, as much for their richness as for the cost. Not outrageous, but a bit on the higher end. Will definitely return.
Thank you for joining us! We're so glad that your experience at the bar was so lovely, and we look forward to welcoming you back!
We had a wonderful dinner. The food was fabulous, especially the salmon and duck. Great desserts too - we loved the rice pudding. The only hitch in otherwise flawless service was that appetizers arrived before cocktails.
Thank you so much for joining us, and we're so happy you enjoyed everything! We're sorry to hear of the error in timing--please know we are always striving towards perfection, and while mistakes happen, we aim always to learn from them and never stop getting better. Come back and see us again soon!
I found the food and service at Parc de Ville to be excellent. Additionally, the music was not loud, which allowed us to have any actual conversation.
Thank you Frank! Come back and join us again soon!
Good vibe, upbeat. Very friendly service and delicious food! Salade Maison is my all-time favorite salad and I eat a lot of salads! So fresh. Really enjoyable place. Great addition to our stable of go-to restaurants. Thanks Parc de Ville
It was really very good. The service was excellent and the food was well worth a return visit.
Oh man this place was so delicious and fun. We sat at the bar and had a great bartender named will who took super good care of us. The drinks we ordered were delicious. And the food was completely amazing. I highly recommend this place I will definitely be coming back.
Our waiter was excellent! He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and very helpful!
The duck confit was divine. And very much enjoyed the chicken liver pate.
Very nice casual feeling yet refined dining experience. You have the option for a free coat check. The restaurant is beautifully executed; it is a very clean & classy look but not overly so. Didn’t feel like you had to wear a fancy outfit— smart casual seems acceptable.
The staff was very professional and helpful. Our water cups were kept topped off all night—with all the waitstaff helping out. Irene, our server, was very warm and hospitable. She put us at ease and was easy to joke around with. Always with a smile, Irene did a terrific job.
Food. Let’s start with the “free” bread; it was good! Delicious butter. Nice n warm—right out of the oven. After that was our appetizer—the low point of the night. It was the Fromages, and maybe I don’t have a good appreciation for the cheese that was offered, but both myself and my dining partner agreed it was a disappoint offering for $16. There were three small slices of cheese, a tub of honey, and few slices of raisin bread. The cheeses were fine but not worth $16.
Now to the entrees: the high part of the evening! I got the Steal Frites & my friend got the Omelette. The steak was excellent! Perfectly done exterior with a nice crisp finish and then a nice warm medium center. The Omelette was light and delicious. The fries that came with both dishes were great—salty perfection.
For dessert: we had the Paris Brest, a donut-like pastry filled with a hazelnut whip. It was very flavorful and refreshing!
Before I forgot; the refreshments! I had two cocktails & both were excellent! One was the Wet Hen, a bourbon leading beverage. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the other one but it was very good!
All and all, we had a great time. This is a great place for a fancy date or a special occasion. It’s definitely not cheap but for the most part, it’s a good value. I will be back.
I've eaten here four times. The first two were good, the last two have been a little disappointing. The food just wasn't as good, and the host, while pleasant, was befuddled. It is not inexpensive and should be better than the last two meals. This place has the potential to be very good, but they just aren't there yet. I think I will wait a while before going back and hope they live up to their potential. This is never going to be a five star restaurant with how things are going at the moment.... they need some work to bring their food up to the price point. I enjoy fine restaurants and price is not an issue for me, but when the food is just ok and the price is higher than other comparable type of restaurants then I will speak up. I hope they listen.
Outstanding food in a beautiful, comfortable setting. Servers need to practice matching orders to patrons. Good experience; we’ll be back.
This is my second time back to Parc de Ville - this time for brunch and it could not have been more delicious! The service was excellent and the food was amazing! Highly recommend the beignets and croque madame. It would be great if they would offer brunch cocktail specials!
A good new addition to the Mosaic District. Nice to have an omlette as an option for dinner.
We had a very good experience at the Parc de Ville on Saturday night. Our meals were delicious and the waiter was prompt , friendly and knowledgeable. We appreciated that the restaurant was not too noisy and we thought the music was at a nice " conversation" level. We were early birds arriving at 5:00 pm so possibly that was why it wasn't too loud. We hope that our next visit will be just as enjoyable.
Dinner was exceptional—everything from the decor to the service to the food. I had the steak frites and it was cooked perfectly. The waiter recommended wine and it was superb. In addition, the decor was a vast improvement over the previous tenant. It didn’t feel crowded and our waiter didn’t rush us. I will absolutely be back soon. It’s a fantastic addition to the neighborhood.
This was my second visit to Parc de Ville. The first visit, food included, was outstanding! The noise level was low and there was wonderful jazz playing in the background. For this reason we returned to celebrate a birthday.
Our server this time was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was patient while we changed wines and she was very pleasant to chat with.
The appetizer (olives) were quite slow to arrive and the plates could have been cleared faster by the busing staff after the first course.
We ordered the house salad, letting them know we would split it, but then had to ask for a second plate when the food runner brought the food. He seemed a bit perplexed. My daughter ordered the French Onion Soup which was delicious. One of us ordered the Trout Amandine and she was happy with her choice. I ordered the Salmon en Croute. The flavors were excellent but it wasn’t hot enough when it came out, only warm. My daughter ordered the omelette and it was extremely bland, as if there was almost no seasoning.
Sadly as well the noise level was quite different than our first visit and the only music to be heard was the base line of whatever was playing.
I’m going into detail because I know this restaurant can be fabulous and I feel perhaps it was an off night in the kitchen. On my first visit I was with a French friend and she said the food flavors were authentic. Getting the noise under control so one can hear the music would be great as well.
I will try this restaurant again and hope the kitchen is having a better night and the music can be appreciated. We love Mosaic and this seems like a fabulous addition to the restaurant options there.
Fantastic experience with sumptuous food and a very attentive staff!
Absolutely amazing from start to finish! Cocktails were so tasty and our meals - Grilled Sea Bass and Potato Crusted Salmon could not have been more delicious. Desserts were phenomenal too! Can’t wait to go back to this beautiful restaurant.
Fantastic food. Great atmosphere.
Everything was great! Food was delicious. Service was excellent!
Great food and ambiance-our new favorite neighborhood restaurant.
Exquisite food and great atmosphere. I will definitely be back again soon.
Fabulous restaurant! Great food, wait staff still wet behind the ears but over all a great experience
The decor and food were perfect - I don’t like salad, but theirs made me grab a second helping. We had the steak frites (Super crispy frites!) and loup de mer (sea bass) and it was delicate, tasty, and the perfect size. It’s still brand new - servers need a bit of work on when to remove/add plates / silverware, etc. Desserts were glorious - in-house pastry chef is key. We’ll definitely be back.
