   This is very good casual restaurant for people who want to relax and chat. But past 7:30 the noise level will continue to increase and you can barely hear the conversation from the person right next to you. I would strongly recommend arriving early if you want to eat and talk and even earlier if you are meeting someone casually for drinks. That way you can hear the whole conversation and not ask them to repeat things. The menu and wine list are very good and the calamari is one of their best appetizers. The bottle of Malbec was an excellent choice as well. Great atmosphere but a little noisy. Great service and very attentive wait staff. Nice washrooms as well.

   I had not been to Pepperwood Bistro in years but have been twice in one week. Both times the food was very good and the price was reasonable. I will be going back again soon.

   Delicious food, outstanding service and charming decor, if it is showing its age a bit. Cozy booths perfect for date night. Price was fair for the value. Will definitely return!

   Met family to celebrate a bday with a party of 9. Everyone enjoyed all that was ordered. The escargot was the only dish that we wouldn’t try again. The parpadelle pasta, muscled, burger and pizza were all great. I liked that the kids had the option of prime rib on the weekend vs the typical kids meal options, the kids meal was large and would have fed me happily.

   Friends lunch. Good service and comfortable atmosphere albeit a bit noisy that day. Eggs Benedict were hard when medium ordered and there was a strong vinegar taste with each bite. Too much vinegar in the poaching liquid.

   Food was a massive disappointment. I had to send the first steak back as it was too tough to eat. Second steak arrived after my husband had finished his meal which was lobster ravioli. It tasted processed. The second steak was bland and tasteless. I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant nor will I be back.

   Their baked Brie appetizer was the highlight! Thin crust pizza , good size and delicious!

    The food was excellent- especially the Taste of Burlington; choice of wines was very good; service was first rate and overall price was great value. We will definitely be back.
