Waited a half an hour for drinks. Place wasn’t even packed. Got our checks without even ordering food.

Limited menu. We saw people leave because they weren’t getting service…even after pointing it out to their server. They told us there was a limited menu due to a new chef. This last time we attempted to dine here, we were told the kitchen closed at 8. Many hours before their true closing. Guess alcohol sales are more important than food. We’ve seen this before with other restaurants. They are now out of business. Hopefully Phat Sammy’s can up their game and survive whatever transitions they are going through.

The waiter told us the cook quit that day and there was a very limited menu that night. The amount of food that we received for the price that it cost wasn’t much.

Love the atmosphere and the cocktails were delicious. However, almost every item we tried to order, they were out of something. Tried to order the chips and dip appetizer, they were out of the dipping sauce. Ordered the Pork Belly appetizer instead, but learned once it arrived at the table that they were out of the squid topping. When ordering drinks, they were out of the Boba for most of the cocktails. When ordering dinner, the waitress notified us when we tried ordering multiple different entrees that some of the ingredients they were out of. The food overall was good, but the service and the shortage of a lot of ingredients was a let down.

It is a spin on Asian food, the concept is good. The presentation was amazing at 100% The execution was 90%.

What happens when a Tiki Bar and a Fine Dining Restaurant have an affair.....🤔 They have a baby named PHAT SAMMY'S ( @phatsammys ), in downtown Huntsville, AL!!! 🗿💘🍍 This is now one of my FAVORITES, in the world! Yasss!!! It's the total vibe for me, from the time you trek down the stairs, to the speakeasy, you get hit with the bright tiki/tropical vibes, to the time you're welcomed by your server and served some of the top notch gourmet meals of yo lifeee y'all!!! I specifically had their Valentine's Day menu, why...because #TreatYoSelf !!! 😝🤟 And, it was Valentine's Day! 🥰🌺 I was served Fry Bread, Plum Salad, Sweet Curry Carrot Soup, Ceviche, Chef's Tender Loin (cooked to perfection) and all the desserts!!! Lime Panna Cotta and decadent Chocolate Mousse, With Strawberries!!! 🍰🍫🍓 I couldn't have asked for a romantical night, with myself!!! And, they gave each table a lovely Valentine's Day gift also!!! So fitting! 😉 The perfect marriage of flavors, from one course, to another, in addition to the cocktails, was INSANE!!! should have stuck with their everyday menu instead of a fixed menu for Valentines. Main entree came out cold sent back came back cool. Food had good flavor just cold.

Jacks our waiter was very attentive first off! Our first time so we weren’t sure where to start we would have tried 8 more items if we had the stomach We had the Phat Fries amazing how the multiple ingredients worked together. The next 2 items were the K- Max burger and the hot dog- both were good but the Kmac was excellent- probably my love for hotdogs made make the other decision- not that it was bad it was just wasn’t as good as Kmac- amazingly the side’s actually were as good- the Brussels sprouts and veggies with Bok Choi were amazing as well- Drinks were finely crafted hats off to the bartender mine had bourbon and bitters - my wife had a drink that actually came in a spam can- I know interesting right- I can’t wait to go back and try 4 more new items- this place actually pulled off a fusion restaurant properly- like to see more desert options but other than that 5 star!
