Thursday to Saturday: 5pm - 11pm
Amazing food and service. Chefs tasting menu is great bc you can try a little of everything.
Can’t wait to go back
The server was rude. We were a party of 6 and ordered 4 set meals and the server and hostress gave so much attitude on sharing meals. There is NO WHERE in the menu that says no sharing. It was 230pm when we got there and we just wanted to snack as dinner was 630pm. No wonder no one comes coz their attitude sucks. Lady there us NO NEED TO RAISE UR VOICE FOR SHARING. The restaurant should close down.
Great food, great atmosphere, terrible service! Our waitress was quite unpleasant and it was very unnecessary considering we were 3 very easy-going girls.
The only small issue was a 20 minute wait at the bar for our table even though we had a reservation. Food came quick and was amazing!
From the pleasant hostess, to the friendly waiter I found the service superb. Down to earth fine dining at its best! I had the rich Bolognese which I enjoyed throughly.
The only critical I have was that at one point, the volume of the music went up a bit too high making it a little difficult to speak at room level. All in all, I would definitely come back to Piano Piano.
Thanks for a great night.
Went for an evening of fun and conversation. Food was good. Waitress was great. Very inviting to the menu and her energy was good. Dessert was OMG. SO GOOD.
They accommodated us even though we had no reservations which was great with 2 tired kids. Food was fantastic, the pastas, the pizzas where out of this world. Would highly recommend.
Great service, great food!
Have traveled a lot, and one of the best meals ever. Love Calamari and theirs is the best I've ever had.
Just be cognizant on ordering your app's and sides as the servings are huge and easy to share.
I've a pretty big appetite, couldn't finish the "trucker" sized veal chop.
Will definitely return.
We enjoyed our dinner, however my main course of the gnocchi was very disappointing, especially in contrast to the gnocchi I've had had CanCan.
The desserts were OK...
We all enjoyed the appetizers
I was extremely disappointed by Piano Piano. After making reservations weeks in advance, I found both the service and the food to be good but mediocre. Although it was a decent pizza and pasta meal, we waited for long periods between courses and the food was not exceptional. I guess this may be a problem when a restaurant is so celebrated, I went in expecting way more than was presented.
The food was impeccable, the service was honestly unbeatable. The servers were so kind and amazing. We were blown away by the calamari, and the truffle pasta is to die for! I am a huge pasta snob but I am recommending this very highly!
Enjoyed my time at Piano Paino. Went to catchup with a friend and we were both excited to go. We were seated immediately after arrivifn
The food was fabulous and the servers were extremely friendly. Great ambience and a refreshing menu. Would definitely like to visit again!
The food was very heavy, and overly seasoned and salted.
Pizza was ok. Certainly wouldn’t brag about it though. Calamari was the highlight, crispy outside soft inside. 5 raviolis for $24 really stands out as the main disappointment of the night. They were good but not $5 a piece good. The noise level was also really loud which made the experience less fun. 3 different people attended our table throughout, which was weird because each time we thought it was our server, yet none of them formally introduced themselves as our server. Or even mentioned their names. I guess it’s not that kind of place. One just kinda stuck around after a few deliveries. He was great but never got his name. There was also a 4th person which we found out was the manager after.
Overall I’m fine with just going that one time, nothing made it worth going back to. Everything was just at par with a decent night out, not outstanding. Still better than Cibo. But many other better places to go in Toronto for proper Italian with better value in a quieter setting. Not a good choice for date night. 3/5.
I made a request while booking, they didnt care or mention. Ruined the surprise.
Brought leftover home, found three hair in food.
Very disappointed. From selected wine not available, food was despicable. It was cold, small portion for a dinner portion, and I had to beg for cheese to perk up the plate. No bread, warm water and the waitress couldn't be bothered. For the outrageous price this was bad fast food quality. Shame on you.
Great for kids, the staff was extremely accommodating. This makes Mom and Dad Happy :)
I absolutely love this place. I had been there before and wanted to take my boyfriend for our anniversary. He was very happy not only with the food, but with the whole experience. We will most definitely will be coming back.
Overall a good experience. Only drawback was it seemed the kitchen couldn’t handle a restaurant that was half full. Maybe this was a one off but it took 65 minutes to get our food. Toast was burnt but they replaced it. The egg yolk raviolo was amazing! Definitely would recommend it and I would go again.
Great food, imaginative, tasty, well cooked. Excellent service, and exciting ambience.
This was our second time here and it’s still amazing! Everything is delicious but the egg yolk ravioli is a must.
I REALLY wanted to like Piano Piano. Splendid I had been one of my fave dining experiences in the city and, while we knew this was a totally different kind of restaurant, we still were so looking forward to trying Piano Piano. Right off the bat the service was well below par.....inattentive yet then we felt like we were being rushed through. Food is sub-par....we had a selection of “ok” appetizers, tried the pizza, one of the pastas. Highlight was probably the meatballs. I think that when you have so many great Italian places to choose from in this city, i was surprised this wasn’t better. Won’t go back.
You need more gluten free options. I googled gluten free restaurants and found this place but when I went in, there was barely anything I can eat and it was not very satisfying. The service was also very slow. It took us almost an hour to get our main course for lunch.
Too much salt, ordered a pasta, it had too much salt, same with a plate of fior di latte, pizza was good though. Service was awesome.
The food is the star here. Pasta amazing. Homemade, delicate and delicious. Service could better. Lovely people but they are either understaffed or not super organized. Ambiance works but only because food is so amazing.
The pasta didn’t have any toppings on, making it kinda boring to just eat the linguini by itself.
Excellent food. Great vegetarian options. We had the Burrata and was delicious.
Not our first visit and won’t be our last. We have always had excellent service and an amazing food experience. However; this last time one of the pizzas ordered we weren’t a fan of. The combination of toppings in that particular pizza (mayo?) were not appetizing. Aside from that our other food items and drinks were fantastic.
Another wonderful dinner.
Shared a chopped kale salad loaded with flavour - get bread with, or extra polenta in, this salad to balance the crazy flavours of the plentiful dressing, olives, and pickled onion. Crisped chick peas and goat cheese. Wow.
Shared the ravioli bolognese - perfection. Delicious, thick bolognese, and 5 amazing pieces of ravioli.
Shared 2 mains:
- seared scallops with grilled radicchio, orange and grapefruit
- veal medallions with roasted potato
Outstanding food, accomplished service, and a very nice setting.
Great atmosphere and delicious food. This is a really great spot for a casual dinner with friends or a special occasion. We will definitely be back.
Second time to PianoPiano in less than a month. We love it; more importantly, our kids love it and in fact request (aka demand!) that we go there.
The $24 lunch special is great value particularly because you still get a generous portion of the appetizer which at other places I find is sometimes ‘small sized’ when part of a meal special.
Great options for kids’ meals as well with really good variety which is fantastic for kids. The chef / owners have clearly made an effort to think about what kids eat and how they eat it. They have these neat ‘EZPZ’ Meal Trays that suction to the surface, meaning fewer spills.
On our most recent visit, we ate the wood fired mushroom salad, calamari fritti, raviolo and ravioli. The kids had Mac Bolognese, fruit skewer, sweet potato fries, roast chicken and chips & guac.
Wonderful ambiance and decor, delicious and authentic food, friendly and knowledgeable service...great heart. Highly recommend!
Overall really enjoyed the food however Shiloh served us and did an outstanding job ! We would go back because of him !
AMAZING! Best Italian restaurant in the city
An excellent meal. Service was amazing!
Everything was great, aside from the food that took way too long to arrive. I was done 2 glasses of wine way before our mains arrived.
Piano Piano is an amazing place for authentic Italian food. The ambience is very pretty. The decor is beautiful.
I ordered Garlic Bread with cheese, it was amazing and super soft. The cheese was mouth watering. It was for 12$. The chocolate tiramisu is to die for. It is called as the Nutella Chocolate Tiramisu. It has some cookies in between and Nutella, it is so far the best dessert I have ever tasted. It costs around 9$ but totally worth it. It is perfect for a date night. The staff is really good and food service is pretty quick. Its in downtown Toronto and 5 mins walk from Spadina Station. Make a reservation, it is preferable if you have a reservation.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere.
Fun night, great memories and will definitely return in the future.
Awesome experience!! Fantastic food and fantastic service and atmosphere. We WILL be back! 😎
