Poodle Bar & Bistro accepts reservations for parties of any size in our bistro for lunch Saturday and Sunday and for dinner Tuesday - Saturday. Parties of 6-12 guests will dine on our Chef's Selection menu for dinner.
Groups of any size are always welcome to walk into our Public Bar or Patio for drinks at any time.
For larger groups of 12 people or more or to enquire about holding your event at Poodle, please email Poodle's reservations team at ciao@poodlefitzroy.com.

Rude staff chef yelling in the kitchen dodgy table inattentive staff food was a set menu but came out ad hoc potato and salad arrived then steak arrived 15 mins later . Table unstable spilled water and staff could not care less

Service was a little hot and cold. The food lacked wow factor given the prices. Great dining room upstairs and excellent wine

Loved everything about our dinner at Poodle. The space is gorgeous, the service excellent, the food delicious, I can't wait to go again!

The service was a little slow to start and it took a while for our first round of drinks to come out, but the waitstaff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was lovely, however as a vegetarian it would be so nice to see more options on the menu then just bread and cheese!

The entire experience was a delight!! Every dish we had was finely crafted, balanced flavours and perhaps the best gnocchi we've tried.

A delicious meal in a beautiful venue. Friendly and faultless service, beautiful flavours in every dish and drink and lovely presentation. Highly recommend saving room for the Bombe Alaska at the end of your meal!

Friendly staff. Delicious food. The house wine was very good. It took a while to locate, we walked passed 3 times, the sign is very small and at the side of the door!

Booked a month in advance for celebration dinner for our daughter's 21st birthday. Friendly and attentive service and excellent food. Decided not to opt for the chef selection but choose our own plates. Highlights were fresh and baked oysters, pork croquettes and the club steak. Delicious cocktails and the wine selection was great. Only complaint would be our seating which was in a booth at the top of the stairs and away from the main seating areas. Felt we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful surrounds of the bistro. The booth was roomy and comfy but we did feel removed from the ambience. Booking so far in advance and advising of the birthday I thought we may have been seated better. Overall a great experience and would to go back and enjoy the atmosphere more.
