Some things were excellent. Many things were not. I don’t plan to return at the cost. The service, bread, lasagna, wine and octopus were excellent. The $40 halibut was overcooked, vodka tonic was bad. I don’t know if they used a sugar free tonic with artificial sweeteners or something but my wife and I both thought it was the worst one we’ve ever tasted. The chairs are so uncomfortable. Even the waiter said everyone hates them and they should have different ones. The tiramisu, the flagship of an Italian restaurant’s dessert menu. It was terrible. The chocolate torte was ok. At $200+, it’s a thumbs down.

The food was amazing and so was our server! It was a special anniversary dinner,. The foccacia bread is a must have!

Food was made quickly and tasted great, the restaurant was never to loud that conversation couldn’t be heard. The staff were also very pleasant and professional. Overall, a great place for a great meal.

We had a great night at Porta Rosa with guests from out of town. They were very impressed with this restaurant and everyone loved their meal. The Alaskan Haddock was outstanding.

Porta Rossa is hands down one of my favorite Italian restaurants, and Lauren is a HUGE reason why! ❤️ Every time she’s our server, she makes the experience even better. She’s warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and somehow always manages to make you feel like you’re genuinely being taken care of—not just served. She remembers the little things, gives great recommendations, and has such a welcoming personality. The food at Porta Rossa is already incredible, but having Lauren take care of us makes the entire experience feel extra special. You can tell when someone truly enjoys what they do, and Lauren absolutely does. If you’re looking for amazing Italian food and exceptional service, Porta Rossa is the place. And if you’re lucky enough to get Lauren as your server, you’re in for an A+ experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lauren, thank you for always making our visits so enjoyable! You’re truly one of the best! ❤️
