                    After one hour, our server told us they were out of one of our orders. At that point we left. Also, when being seated the hostess brought us two glasses of water for six people. Was she assuming we would share?

                    Had a mother’s day reservation. Food took over hour to arrive after ordering. Total time over 2 hours for a lunch. Food was not good either. My mother in laws Omelette was over cook and my burger was so small it only took two bites to finish.

                    Mother’s Day; very nice local restaurant; we had the Sunday brunch menu which had several selections; we ordered the biscuits and gravy and veggie omelet; mimosas and Bloody Mary drinks on special as well.

                    When we got there, all the waiters and waitress were running around and all seemed to be very flustered. We sat outside and sat for 20 mins and no one came to wait on us so we decided to leave. Not one person even stopped us when we were walking out. There was even a worker on crutches. Which she couldn’t help with anything so not sure why she was there. They are way under staffed and need a lot more servers and bussers since every table had dirty dishes on it. It stinks because this is such a good location and great atmosphere but who has time to wait for 20 mins to even get a glass of water.

                    Food was good but pasta portion was small. Chicken a bit undercooked. I was fearful to eat it. Bartender waited on us on outdoor patio and did a good job but was clearly overwhelmed with too many customers. Entertainment was too loud and the gal singing was not very good.

                    We really want Rails to make it as a go to neighborhood eatery. We have been a few times with mixed experiences. This evening was definitely not one of the better evenings. They were understaffed so we knew we were in for a long evening. We chose to stay as it was beautiful night to sit outside and we weren’t in a hurry. Getting drinks was a challenge which we were willing to deal with but being served raw chicken was more then we bargained for. When we pointed it out the waitress took it back. She returned with “so what do you want to do”. Without saying she knew the kitchen couldn’t get us anything for a while. We asked for a plate to split the sandwich we did have and she returned with a wet plate that she said was clean but had “just come out of the dishwasher.” Needless to say, a very unappetizing evening. We saw people come and go without being acknowledged. We believe the issue here is not the wait staff, but lack of staffing and management. Training employees and supporting them is key. We will chalk it up to a bad night for them and try again. Like I said we want them to be a success.

                    Arrived just before our 6:30 reservation. We were seated immediately, being menus and water by the hostess. She also brought us beer menus. We then sat for at least 30 mins and watched any number of servers pass by; coming and going with food and drink for other tables. No one ever stopped to take our order. In that time we watched two other tables get up and leave, having only menus and water on their tables. We got up to leave, told the hostess we didn’t want to wait any more and she apologized. Nice looking place. Good sized beer menu. Not sure what was going on with the servers and table coverage. Very strange experience.
