   I’m not sure how this experience could have been much worse. We booked a 6:45pm reservation for 3 to celebrate our daughter’s recent promotion. When we arrived, we were told there would be at least a 20 minute wait. We explained we had a reservation and the hostess, who could not have been less interested in being there or greeting anyone, told us the reservation didn’t matter, we would have to wait at least 20 minutes before being seated. The dining room was 2/3 empty. While the hostess was telling us this, a man walked up with a pager in his hand, gave it back to the hostess and said, “we’re tired of waiting, we’re leaving.” The hostess then said to us, “okay, I can seat you now.” Not sure why that mattered but we were glad to get a table. Our server was nice but struggled to keep up with the simple stuff, like keeping our glasses filled (water, Diet Coke). We ordered 2 appetizers and both came out in a reasonable amount of time, although the tomato basil soup was nothing more than marinara that had been watered down. Literally. My wife’s lobster bisque had been so watered down it was a broth. And my daughter had asked for dressing on the side for her salad. It came slathered in dressing. While eating, we heard a waiter verbally berating a customer in the booth next to us. Apparently, the customer was trying to get the attention of his server and the server began telling the customer how rude he was and that he’d better never do that again. This went on for 2-3 minutes. It was appalling how the server was speaking to the elderly man. We waited for an hour and ten minutes for our entrees and finally instructed our server to just have them package the meals to go. We had ordered the mahi and also the salmon, 2 dishes.When we got home, we found both to have been over-cooked. The mahi was so over cooked that it had the consistency of overdone turkey breast. Pretty much the same with the salmon. During all of this, no manager ever showed his/her face. Never again.

   Macaroni Grill overbooked for Valentines Day. We made a 745pm reservation and didn’t get seated until 820pm. We arrived early and sat in the bar but they were so busy we had to sit at a dirty table the entire time. Once we finally sat we waited a hour for our food. They ran out of calamari and the potatoes with the steak and potatoes Valentine package. It was a hot mess and very disorganized.

   Terrible service and food! People were getting up and leaving because service was so bad. Bread was stale and the food was cold.

   They overbooked and caused delays of over 2 hours. I plan on writing to the general management or corporate. Many unhappy people that will never go back to that location

   Not staffed up for the night. Late seating reservations, slow to take orders, entrees took over 1 hr and were not worth the wait. Lots of people left without receiving their food at all. We did feel sorry for the wait staff as it was out of their control.

   We had 6:00 pm reservations on Valentine's Day. We had a short wait to be seated. From there, it went down hill. Our server did not show up for about 20 minutes. She took our drink orders and we ordered from the "special menu" in order to expedite the process. There were several other diners in our area that were complaining about the wait. We were forced to get our food to go as we had to be somewhere at 8:00 pm. Obviously they were overbooked and way understaffed. As we left, there were many people waiting to be seated. I felt sorry for them because I knew they were in for a very long wait. I know it was Valentine's Day, but this was a horrible experience. We have been to this restaurant on many occasions. In fact, it was where we went on our first date. We will not be back.

    Sure, it was Valentine’s Day, and expected to be busy. But we had a 6pm reservation and weren’t seated until 6:25. It looked like they added more tables, as the space was incredibly crowded. After sitting for 10 minutes without a waiter coming by, the table next to us got sat and a waiter immediately took their drink order. We grabbed a waiter walking by, asked him to get our waiter, and he didn’t know who it was. He graciously told us he’d just take care of us even though it wasn’t close to his section. Got us drinks and bread immediately and took our order. This was at about 6:40. We told him we were seeing a movie at 7:30. At 5 after, he came to tell us he had checked with the kitchen and they were so behind they hadn’t even started our food yet, and he doubted we’d get it by even 7:30. We cancelled the food and paid for our drinks and one salad and left. So for spending almost an hour and a half there when we had a reservation, we only got salad and drinks. Really disappointed
