   Wonderful service w/ warm smiles and a serving pace that doesn’t feel rushed! A great spot in downtown Cary if you’re looking for quality dishes as you reconnect w/ old friends. Atmosphere is well-spaced and relaxed as well as held to high standards!!

   We love this place! Super pepper beef and incredibly delicious pho Lao!! And our usual starter of crispy spring rolls never misses. Our waitress was great too, a member of the chef /owner’s family.

   The restaurant is bright, cheerful, and has a welcome ambiance. Our server, Kenna, was outstanding. She was very friendly, made us feel welcome, and provided excellent service. The dinner was rather bland, and didn't have have the flavors we were expecting. However, the dumplings where outstanding. The Basil and garlic stir fry with crispy chicken was tough and didn't have the wow factor I was looking forward to. The crispy coconut rice lettuce wrap also lacked the flavors, spices, and taste that would have made it stand out from any other dish. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes. The rice pork roll appetizers were the tastiest dish we ordered and were delicious! Should have just ordered several of the appetizers instead of dinner. If we return, if would be for the appetizers only. As with all new restaurants, we enjoy trying them all and supporting local businesses in Cary. However, as with all new restaurants, some provide a better experience than others, and this one was not memorable.

   The food and service were amazing. The only thing negative is that it was freezing in there. It was warm outside and the air was set too low. It was so cold that those of us who didn't have a long sleeved layer were very uncomfortable. I had a long sleeved layer and I was still a bit cold.

    We had a FANTASTIC SERVER Kenna. She explained the menu and made some yummy suggestions for small plates. The food was so good and the cocktails were too. She brought out a surprise complimentary Birthday dessert with a candle that was amazing too. Kenna gave us the low down of the Cary Park which is next to the restaurant and we really enjoyed walking around it after the filling Lunch. We give SAAP a 5 Star Rating because they hit ALL THE MUST HAVES for us when we dine out.
