Feel like they’re still working out some kinks on timing. Our server was friendly and professional and welcomed us in a timely manner. He reviewed the menu with us and made recommendations which was appreciated. We placed cocktail orders and waited longer than expected - about 20 minutes. Drinks were good. Our server took our order and within 5 minutes everything was delivered at once to the table. We were a party of 4 and ordered 8 items. It felt extremely rushed. Would have preferred courses be paced properly for a fuller experience that would allow for each dish or at least menu groupings to be enjoyed separately. That said, the food was really great! Highlights were the tomato ceviche, crispy rice tuna and hamachi sashimi. These items really shouldn’t be missed - just amazing. The makimono rolls - we ordered tuna and lobster were very good, but not terribly unique. A great deal of attention has been placed on ambience. This is typified and appreciated in all of Grainger’s endeavors. While this restaurant goes above and beyond in its vibe and decor, similar attention should be paid to timing of service and coursing. A meal of this complexity and beauty should last more than an hour.

Beautiful restaurant but needs a more diverse menu. Sushi was average…not much flavor and was served without soy sauce and minimal wasabi. Not many rolls on the menu. Shrimp cocktail was good also the cucumber salad was interesting. We were sat in the back sushi prep area at a table that the sun was directly in our eyes we asked to move and she moved us to the table next to us which minutes later had the same issue. Service was great and cocktails were excellent.

Excellent food (the spicy tuna crispy rice appetizer was so delicious that we ordered it twice!) and excellent service (our server, Louie W had great recommendations and was so attentive!). The decor is elegant, witty, and fun. The shareable plates made the evening even more enjoyable. It was a great experience, and we will definitely be back.

Sea bass lettuce bites were flavorful as was everything we ordered. We had calamari tempura and tuna crispy rice. We ordered multiple sushi rolls…a veggie roll with avocado was good but had a lot of wasabi HEAT AND SPICE! The lobster roll was great. We had flank steak on kabobs. Yum! We really enjoyed trying multiple dishes. When we go back we’ll take a group again in order to share the food. Only downside, it’s pricey. Drinks are a little too expensive.

The restaurant had a beautiful decor. The service was friendly and professional. The food was delicious but a little pricey. I would go here for a special occasion.

Beautiful restaurant, attentive staff & amazing food! We enjoyed all the suggestions made by our server, Cody. Started with the imported Japanese water, ordered the Wagyu croquettes, Spicy Tuna Rice Cakes, Espresso Martini & Smashimi to drink, Charcoal Skewers, and an ell roll. We sat in one of the “bed booths” which made for such a unique dining experience. 10/10, can’t wait to return!

Went for a birthday dinner and had an amazing time! It was a little loud when our server was trying to explain the menu (which he did expertly, and also totally not his fault) but generally that was not an issue once we got going into the dinner. The food and drinks were delicious and everyone was so nice. Management was also delightfully funny and fun. The only critique I could say would be that I wished the appetizers and entrees hit the table at the same time/closer to each other, instead of one person's food coming out and then the rest a bit later. That being said, we had an enchanting evening and we can not wait to go back and try more of the food.
