I booked a table on the website on the 11th july but when we arrived there the restaurant was closed!!!!

Always been very good but this time it seems the menu options have been reduced and the quality of food not as good as before. Has always been good value for money but this time not so.

Great food. A bit quiet, but I think that is because it was a bit out of the way and hard to spot the entrance. Beautifully decorated and the food was all excellent. Service could have been quicker, but I reckon they were worried about people over ordering and wasting expensive ingredients

Sadly a little underwhelming this time. It took 45 minutes for our first round of orders to arrive, and subsequently throughout our time some dishes didn’t arrive, no explanation. A little bit of a let down sadly.

This place did not allow us to bring out our cake to celebrate our son's birthday. I think this was due to me challenging the manager on a previous visit 2 weeks ago regarding paying child prices for my 12yr old son. Company t&c's state that those between 4 and 12yrs old are considered children. However, the manager tried making us pay adult prices because it's only for children up to the age of 11. Sorry, but that's false advertising and I made her aware of this. In the end, she unwillingly charged us for a child price. Fast forward to today, a staff member apologised that they weren't allowed to celebrate our son's birthday like they usually did with others. I immediately understood why....so then we ordered loads of ice cream for dessert instead which worked out better for us because we could save the cake for tomorrow when it actually was my son's birthday (we were celebrating in advance so accomdate a family a friend). So it kinda backfired for the manager because it cost her more in desserts 🤣
