It was our 2nd time visiting Scelto, we had such an amazing time the first visit, and we were hoping to recreate it since we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary. Our expectations were surpassed, we have nothing but praise for our waiter Merwin, he served us during our first visit, and we were thrilled to get him for this second visit. He is by far one the best waiter you will have. Not only did he remember us, but he made our night so special, and we will definitely be back!

We arrived earlier than our reservation, they accommodated us and we got seated immediately. We ordered 5 courses and each one was superb. Our waiter Jul was amazing. At the end of the evening we were all enjoying our selves and we loved every minute of our time. Thank you Scelto for making unforgatable memories for us.

We had a reservation and the restaurant was not full, yet we were seated right next to the restroom entrance. There were 4 tables close by that were empty so that was annoying. We ordered the burrata as an appetizer and agreed that it was very good but needed salt. My spouse ordered the carbonara, which was creamy and delicious, and I ordered the branzino. There was a sauce with it that was delicious, but I wish there was more of it and the fish also needed salt. I don’t typically add salt to my food when eating out, nor do I like food very salty, so that was new. The ambiance is great and it’s beautifully decorated. The food was very good, just some minor tweaks. Have been before, and will go again.

Overall we liked this place. We started with calamari, which was really good but a tad greasy. The aioli was also just a touch too salty, but all in all we enjoyed the calamari. We had the short rib and lasagna for entrees. Both were really good, but we liked the lasagna just a bit better. We ordered the risotto and broccolini as sides, and the risotto really needed some salt. The broccolini was good. The server was attentive, food came out at a good pace, and overall we enjoyed it. Would definitely go again.

Hostesses were great, server as well! Food was okay. Not great, not bad. Not terribly memorable. Appetizers and soup were best items we had, entrees and desert were okay.

For a neighborhood Italian restaurant, Scelto stands out. Food was much better than most other small Italian restaurants in Utah. Ambience was nice. Service was excellent (impressive actually). Price was reasonable.

First time there and it was lovely. It was a bit slow so the indoor seating was very quiet. Food was very good and worth the money we payed. Looking forward to going back soon. Make sure to try to gnocchi and the bolognese.
