Set at the Robata grill, this intimate yet relaxed setting offers direct interaction with the chef, evoking the charm of a hidden Tokyo izakaya. Savor sashimi, six yakitori preparations, and a consommé crafted from paitan ramen broth, culminating in dessert. Paired with cocktails, sake, or Japanese wine, this is an unforgettable dive into Japanese flavors and craftsmanship. Chefs tip: Upgrade to the beeswax aged Japanese A5 Wagyu beef to really enhance the experience.

Very disappointed in the seating. Paid for the upgrade experience but the seats and view for the kitchen makes you feel like you are sitting in a subway sandwich place . All the meat was extremely salty.

One of the best total dining experiences I have had ever. As a Chef I have nothing it the utmost respect for Chef Darren and his talented overall while team back and front of house. Cannot wait to go back!

The food tasted really good however the portions are REALLY small (for the price). Our server was pushy when trying to upsell. Our meal cost was higher than other upscale restaurants in the area and we left hungry.

Absolutely incredible experience!! Food is amazing and the service is incredible. 10/10! Cannot wait to go back and try more on the menu that we missed!

I’m from Vancouver, and will say the sushi / Japanese food can rival any restaurant in Van. Definitely top 3 of my favourite restaurants in Calgary.

Took my 17 year old son, who is very interested in culinary the for Omakase experience. The food and the service were amazing. Our server Adam and the Chef were awesome and answered all questions we had even when it had nothing to do with our meals. I did the alcohol pairings and they all paired perfectly with the course. My son really appreciated all the info the team provided. We had to debate which was our favorite items and couldn’t decide they were all so good. Would highly recommend

Great service and really delicious interesting food but the acoustics were so loud, even at a table for two, we could not hear each other.
