Set at the Robata grill, this intimate yet relaxed setting offers direct interaction with the chef, evoking the charm of a hidden Tokyo izakaya. Savor sashimi, six yakitori preparations, and a consommé crafted from paitan ramen broth, culminating in dessert. Paired with cocktails, sake, or Japanese wine, this is an unforgettable dive into Japanese flavors and craftsmanship. Chefs tip: Upgrade to the beeswax aged Japanese A5 Wagyu beef to really enhance the experience.

The Yakitori Omakase experience was so cool! Honestly the most fun I have probably ever had at a restaurant and the courses were unbelievably good! Great service, super cool to interact with the chef as well!

My go-to favourite place. I go all the time with my parents, and even visit alone. High quality fish in Alberta is hard to find, but Shokunin has incredible seafood. Salmonbelly aburi is to die for, as well as the kale salad! Very friendly staff, and fair prices.

The Yakitori Experience was the best dining experience we've ever had. The service staff were friendly right from the time we entered until we left. The meal with the drink pairings were incredible and left us very satisfied and full by the end of the night. It was great to be able to see the food cooking and have Chef Keisuke answer our questions and explain the processes and techniques they were using. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys amazing food and a great, welcoming atmosphere.

The service was FANTASTIC! We were sat right at the front window of the kitchen to watch all the preparation, the ambiance felt so light and everyone working there were in great moods! It truly is worth checking out and if you can do the chefs tasting with drink pairing I highly recommend it! The automatic gratuity is worth it too!

Great Celebration meal! Chelsea our server was awesome! Charming, friendly and super skilled. Food was all incredible and the drinks were top notch.

Next level food, almost too difficult to decide which to pick without the help of our very knowledgeable, friendly & helpful server. Food was quick off the grill and the flavours were terrific. It was Friday night but felt slightly rushed otherwise a great experience and will return to finish up our menu tour.
