The grilled seafood platter needs some work, the fish, shrimp and oysters needed a little more seasoning. The portions could have been a little more.

The food was outstanding, along with a healthy crowd. The band was awesome to enjoy, just wish it would not have been so hot. Make plans to reserve your table soon.

Superb! Food was amazing. The oysters were perfection. Nice size, clean and wonderful. We also got a chowder, fried fish, fried alligator, crab cakes and a few other menu items. ALL were delicious! The waiter was very nice and very attentive.

Food was cold when it came out and we had a party of 7. The waitress was nice but the value of food for the money was not worth it.

This was my first time here. I ordered the seafood platter so I could sample a variety. The stuffed crab was the best I have ever eaten in my life. It was over the top deliciousness!! The fried fish and shrimp were good. The fried oysters, to my disappointment, were soggy, not crispy at all. The Hush puppy was very good. The stuffed shrimp was also very good. It came with a seafood boulette which was good and something most seafood platters do not have. For my side I ordered the new potatoes and they were very good! I highly recommend them. It also came with a side salad and I chose their homemade Sugar Cane Vinaigrette to try. That Vinaigrette is amazing, I highly recommend it for your salad! The next time I go I will try the charbroiled oysters which they are so famous for. Our waitress was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. She was extremely pleasant, friendly, calm in a very busy atmosphere and was always smiling and not in a hurry serving us well.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Shucks! We were seated 5 minutes after arriving for our reservation. Nick was our server and he did an excellent job throughout our meal. We had raw oysters shrimp cocktail and Crab/ Corn Chowder. All were excellent. We will be back again!

Obviously, this place is still very new and they are working out a lot of kinks. That being said, the food was fantastic. The service left a lot to be desired, but that will only get better for them. This will be a great spot for years to come.
