   Lovely Mother's Day Brunch. As always we were taken blown away by the service, the food, and the vibe. Our go to Restaurant in Vancouver!! And the live music - so fun!!

   Great vibes, great service and good food. We ordered one dish that was on the menu but you were out of due to a busy weekend. It would have been nice to know that up front. Otherwise, great experience. We’ll be back!!

   The staff were more interested chatting and talking with one another than be attentive to the tables that were dining in. The kitchen and bar were out of almost every item we ordered but weren’t able to tell us till 5-10mins after they took our order. They also forgot and never brought one of our tables meals and we had to ask them about it before the server said anything. Our server that started our table also never said anything to us when their shift was done and just “left” but we saw them sit at a table 2 down from us and have a drink with a friend and they got more service and attention than any of the other tables. When we were finished our food and plates were taken away we had to wait again(20mins) more for someone to come back which no one did until we had to flag someone down and get our bill. Last time we dined here the service was much better so not sure I’ll be coming back and I don’t think the table next to us will either as their food was undercooked and cold.

   The food took about an hour to arrive and it was just warm, and honestly I was expecting better taste and quality..

   This is out hands down favourite place to go in Vancouver. Great vibes!! Great staff!! Food is amazing and affordable

   This is one of my favourite neighborhood spots! I love how welcome and special we’re made to feel no matter what is going on! And it’s at the centre of Gastown so it’s a great spot to chill with a good mocktail/cocktail on a sunny afternoon and people watch as much as it’s a great spot to gather intentionally with your crew and catch up over a tasty meal! ⭐️

   We visited Six Acres as we had heard it was the best place to visit for a Sunday roast. We had a look at the menu and seen they offered a vegetarian roast which did not have a vegetarian main e.g. nut roast etc. however my partner was happy to go as at least the Yorkshire puddings were included. We pre-ordered the roasts days before so they would have anticipated what produce was needed however when we received our food, it was two standard beef roasts. After sending it back to swap for a vegetarian roast it arrived without the Yorkshire Pudding as we were told they are all baked in lard (no vegetarian option with oil) even though it is listed on items within the vegetarian meal. With this being the case, this meant it was $20 for a plate of vegetables with gravy - nothing out of the ordinary. The standard beef roast would have been okay but it was freezing from the moment it arrived. I don't know if this can be put down to a bad day but the actual advertising of items on the meal that aren't included and then still proceeding to charge full price is not right.

   We had the Easter Sunday roast, the food wasn’t great but the service and staff were lovely.

    Terrible experience! Our food took over an hour to arrive after ordering and when it came it was wrong. Servers were not attentive to refill coffee or water during this time. The restaurant did offer a discount for the poor experience but even at a discounted rate, it was not worth enduring the experience. Will likely not be returning.
