A 6th floor restaurant and bar boasting views over Nottingham and Trent Bridge - this is West Bridgford's new high point.

Trent Bridge has been providing a warm, friendly welcome since 1838 - and they won’t be stopping any time soon.

Six is cooking modern British food with a menu that offers a dining experience of the highest order, with an evolving cast of Six starters, Six mains and Six desserts.

There’s something for everyone, featuring a canny mixture of meats, seafood and vegetarian fayre and dietary requirements catered for with relish.

When it comes to liquid refreshment, the spirit library is colossal, the cocktails are crafted with flair, the beers are nothing less than premium and Six's wines are selected by some of the finest sommeliers in the land.

Food was very good and had some interesting combinations of flavours. However, service was poor - far too many different people serving who didn't seem to know anything about working in a restaurant: for example we weren't told about them being out of two options until we tried to order them, we were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu as the server cleared our starter plates away although we had ordered mains, and my partner had his glass of sparkling water topped up with still water even though his bottle of sparkling water was sitting right next to the glass. It's a great location with amazing views but they just don't have the class of service that somewhere like that needs to make it a go to place rather than a place that you go to once and then not again

One of the best meals we have ever had. The only thing if I am nit picking that it was way too bright. Some dim lighting would have been nicer.

Good food but not stellar. Decent value. Staff a bit amateurish when serving - plates cleared before one of our party had finished for example. A significant improvement on when we first went several years ago. Food much improved. Wine list reasonable value - decent options. Nice view. It’s not the best restaurant in Notts but as they were closed it fitted the bill pretty well. I can’t help feeling though that with a bit more staff training and a little more risks taken with the food this place could become exceptional. Would probably return.

Food wasn't hot. Wine glasses topped up too often so wine was then warm to drink. Desserts were poor.

Lovely food, beautifully presented. A table nearer the window with a view would have made it more special. Service was ok but felt rushed and not checked on. Had to pour own wine after first glass.

The venue is fabulous - spectacular nightime views over the City and surrounds - different from the summer. The seasonal menu had a great range for all tastes, and the food which arrived, in exactly the right tempo was superb. Rich, flavourful, beautifully presented. The people of six are fantastic too - they provided a relaxing and informal service, nothing was too much trouble. We had a memorable, perfect evening. Thank you all!

A wonderful experience. The food was really lovely, beautifully presented, and tasted delicious. The staff were so attentive, and provided quiet and professional service. The manager Adam was outstanding in his attention. Friendly, helpful, professional, and so lovely, a real asset to any establishment. Cannot rate him highly enough. Love this place.
