Close to Barbican and Farringdon tube stations, St Bart’s Brewery is a historical venue, now home to a restaurant and bar serving specialist wines, cocktails, craft beers and real ales in London. Our food is locally sourced wherever possible; with nearly all our meat coming from the nearby Smithfield market, whilst many of our wines come straight from our award winning winery – Hush Heath Estate in Kent.



We regularly play host live music nights, weddings, birthday parties and corporate events. The venue can also be booked for a range of team building activities such as wine tastings, quiz evenings, cocktail making masterclasses, private dining and more. You can also book the venue for a private event. We can accommodate 120 seated or 250 standing or offer the more private Balfour Bar for a relaxed 30 seated or 50 standing event space for dining or drinking for your special event.

    despite having booked weeks in advance for a business lunch, and my booking having been accepted, St Barts telephoned me an hour before my booking to say it had "only just appeared" in their system and in fact they were closed all afternoon for a private function. They must have known before then

    The meal was quite disappointing. The food was nothing special at all and service limited. St Barts is a very busy pub and the food is nothing more than very mediocre pub food.

    Would not recommend for dinner, maybe lunchtime is better. A friend and I weren't welcomed or seated and the establishment was full of people drinking rather than eating. We had a drink and them moved on to a restaurant.

    Overall we had a nice meal at this restaurant however the timing could have perhaps been better. We booked for 13.45 on a Sunday and the place was empty, leaving little to say about the ambience. The staff were friendly and attentive. The main meals were good value and no complaints about the food which was cooked to perfection and really enjoyable. The dessert was nice but tiny tiny portions were disappointing. Drinks were on par with the expected London price.

    Lovely room and good food but it was badly understaffed and the poor waitress was rushed off her feet trying to keep a very large table and a few other diners happy. Obviously the management is a bit inexperienced.

    Went for dinner on a Bank Holiday Monday, was told when booking that main courses are 50% off on Mondays but assumed this wouldn't be the case on Bank Holiday. However this was the case, and as well as half price food which was already fairly priced without any discount, draft pints were also £3 on Mondays. I think they have a deal like this for every weekday. On top of that the food was great with top notch service in a nice setting. 10/10, can have nothing bad to say about it

    The food was good as we had the special offer tapas, as much as you can eat ' offer. It was very well presented and varied too. The service was excellent with waitress being so attentive and caring. She was polite and professional at all times. She was smiling and very welcoming. The only down side is the noise levels from the bar can be fairly high, fortunately we had a quiet table which was just what we had asked for.

    I had a good experience at St Bart's Brewery. A very smart, large, upmarket venue with character. We were given a very satisfying area to sit, upstairs away from the main crowd. We had a nice, vivacious waitress who had lots of patience and a good sense of humour. She wasn't fully knowledgeable about the drinks but was always happy to find out the answers for us. The food was fresh and succulent, but could have been more generous in the helpings. Deserts were tasty, we tried the platter. The music being piped through was really good too and not too obtrusive. A great place to go to as a group!

    Three colleagues from work, we sat on the balcony which was nice, although I felt like we were forgotten about, service was slow but we didn't mind as we had a lot to catch up on, I had deep fried avocado as I hadn't had it or even heard of it before... not bad, it still looked very fresh but not really to my taste, main course I had steak - excellent! We had read a review previously which was moaning about only having 5 chips - these chips are giant, delicious! We will be returning in a couple of weeks for our staff night out, so will be interested to review for 30 of us.
