We came here for a ladies night, to catch up with a friend who was visiting from out of town. The ambiance and decor are great---really pretty. The cocktails were excellent. The service was not. The food was average at best. We waited almost 5 minutes at the door before we were acknowledged, and then were escorted to our table by a guy who didn't speak to us at all. Our server was a really sweet young woman who was also one of the 2 bartenders. She made great cocktails and was very friendly, but once she took our orders, we didn't see much of her. She was bartending and busy, but even when she came out from behind the bar, she'd pass by our table without ever checking in with us--we had to flag her down whenever we wanted/needed anything. The food was delivered without a word---just dropped in front of us. We chose to order small plates for the table--coconut shrimp, edamame, tuna tartare and Thai chicken lettuce wraps. The tuna tartare was very good--the best dish we ordered. The coconut shrimp was okay, average really. The edamame was overcooked and soggy and the lettuce wraps were really not good at al. The chicken was overcooked and dry, and there wasn't a whole lot of flavor. The overall sense we got from the service is that they were disinterested---didn't seem to care if we were happy or satisfied. The place had a very cool, hip vibe, and is probably trying to attract a younger crowd. We're all in our late 50s, so maybe they didn't want our demographic in there? Running a restaurant in downtown Alpharetta, though, that's the demographic you're going to get more than any other. Pretty disappointed--I live in downtown Alpharetta and my husband and I eat out a lot. I was hoping for a great new addition to the DTA drinking/dining choices. If the service was more welcoming, I might have given it another try, since they've only been open for 3 weeks. As it is, I doubt I'll be back.

The only great thing about our dinner was the server. The food was overpriced and overcooked. Additionally, they were out of 4/9 items that we ordered. The poor server did all she could to make suggestions based on what was available. They erroneously made two of one item (we only ordered one) and then charged us for it. Thankfully, the server removed it from the tab. Also, one of the small plates wasn't available, so the makeshift suggested was 50% more expensive. In my opinion, it should have been charged at the cost of the originally ordered item considering almost half of the items we ordered were 86'd. As far as the ambiance is concerned, it was very club like. Granted, I am not in my club-hopping era as a 50 something woman, but I can appreciate the vibe. For a restaurant it was very loud and difficult to carry on a conversation.

Absolutely loved this new spot in Alpharetta! Delicious food, amazing drinks, great music, and super friendly service. Can’t wait to go back!

Sunset is on another level. The food was incredible and everything was amazing. Cocktails were some of the best I’ve had in a long time, super creative and well balanced. Service was top notch, friendly and dialed in. You can tell this place takes pride in every detail. Definitely my new go to spot in Alpharetta.

I don't even know where to begin!!! The food was delish, the drinks (specifically the spicy margarita) were phenomenal, the ambiance and the vibe was amazing!! The service was top notch, our waitress was super friendly and just made our experience that much more enjoyable. They accommodated us with our preference of seating. The music was fun!! It felt like we were on vacation!! Over all 10/10!! Found my new favorite spot in Alpharetta!! Cheers!
