Superica
– “where sunshine spends the winter” – also known as Tex-Mex cuisine served in an Old-West-inspired atmosphere alongside music inspired by Austin.

The cuisine is a combination of 1950s Tex-Mex and the wood grill that has taken the food to another level by way of fajitas and more. An “evolved Tex-Mex menu,” includes the classics: tacos, nachos, tamales and enchiladas plus more intricate dishes such as wood-grilled fajitas and shrimp tacos always served with just-made flour tortillas, all while paying homage to the traditions and recipes that have been a part of the Texas culture for decades.

    Our server went above and beyond - my daughter ordered a drink and she checked her ID. At the end of the meal she brought her a special dessert because she noticed her birthday was the next day! So very thoughtful!

    Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience. The service was slow and impersonal. Everything took a while to arrive, but nothing was very hot. The crispy chicken tacos were a bit soggy by the time they arrived and the steak tacos were fatty. We got our queso about 5 minutes before the chips got to the table so it was cold as well. The server never came back to ask about the food even though we were sat in the back by the bathrooms where the servers had a stand. To spend about $100 on a night out for that experience was just not worth it. I don't expect us to go back anytime soon.

    Well, the place certainly has a vibe - raucous. Fun only of you like that sort of thing. Our server was young, he didn't even look 21. He had confidence but not the skill to back it up. Our food came out nearly an hour after we sat down but we got no check-in or update along the way. Not even an offer of drink refills.

    The food was excellent. However the service was poor, even though the restaurant was only about 50% full. Server only visited the table twice and the wait on the drinks was much longer than expected. The terrible service really killed the vibe

    The food was wonderful! The wait service was lacking. We waited 45 minutes for our food. We had to ask for drink refills. They were friendly, but staffing tables missed the mark.
