Established in 2017, Téatro Bar & Restaurant is the sister business to the nationally recognised Barn Theatre, located nextdoor to Ingleside Hotel in Cirencester

We pride ourselves on offering a unique dining experience; offering quality, sourced produce formed into exquisite menus, alongside carefully crafted drinks, all served by our wonderful front of house staff.

Our stylishly designed restaurant and famous outdoor area, The Firepit, sit either side of our relaxing bar where live piano fills the air. Teatro is the ideal venue for any occasion; a birthday, pre theatre dinner, or a drink with friends.

Another excellent pre-theatre meal. Superb venue and brilliantly positioned and timed to have a leisurely meal and a drink before the performance at Barn Theatre. Good and interesting menu. The whole sole was superb. Thoroughly recommend

The food was overcooked, particularly the potatoes with the schnizel. The Picanha steak was also quite gristly. Service was good and we had plenty of time before the theatre.

Good service who handled our feedback very well. Food was fair for 3 out of the 4 of us with the steak for the 4th member of our party being very chewy. Offered a replacement which we accepted however this was also chewy. The cost of the steak was removed - thank you.

We regularly use Teatro when going to performances at the Barn Theatre. On this occasion my companion had her leg in plaster after an injury. I messaged Teatro and told them of the problem and asked if we could have a table with decent leg room. This was done and we appreciated it. Before this, we used the wheelchair lift near the entrance, but after the lift descended the controls froze and we could get off the lift. The staff saw ou problem, and came out to help, including summoning a staff member who knew the controls. The solution was simple and there was no fault with the lift. All this was done very quickly and we had three members of staff assisting. We were so pleased with the way we were dealt with, and as usual the food was brilliant. The staff knew we were attending a performance, and as usual gave us timely reminders of when we were getting close to performance time.

We were staying in the Cotswolds for the weekend and booked this restaurant. In the booking we mentioned it was our special anniversary. Upon arrival we were met and congratulated with a free glass of Prosecco each and then the evening progressed. The food was amazing. Wonderful wonderful food. The waiting staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We then sat listening to a pianist who was very good whilst drinking cocktails and whiskey. I cannot fault the experience.

The food was ok. Although my boyfriends steak was cold. They forgot a drinks order. The outdoor area could have been cleaner. Dunno, it's just not anywhere near the best option in Cirencester.

We had 4 small plates between us from the appetizer menu including a plate of their wonderful Parmesan ruffle fries and every dish was fantastic, the Cornish prawns, baked Camembert and goats curd toast. It’s not often that every dish you select is divine but this was absolutely 4/4, so much so I want to return and eat all those dishes again. Lovely ambience and we will definitely return to sit in the beautiful courtyard garden.
