First experience here, but then to a couple other Axe places before. Made a reservation, which was smooth, I opted for the 90 min, which I kind of regret now. We went to the bar to get our drinks initially, but were told there was a waitress that would come around and check on us. The bar itself is nice. Showed up and was shown to the lane. I asked the young lady (very polite) who was working if the had game sheets with different games like, cricket and they didn’t it was just one score sheet. The woman I was with had never thrown before and I asked the young lady to go over the basics. I was kind of in shock when she said that it had to be thrown hard, every place I had been before it was more of a finesse and not breaking your wrist, but I found out why. The standard house axes are wide, and not sharp at all. One of the boards on my target was so wet, It barely had any marks in it and even when I tried to stand by the target and swing it into the board it would not stick in the board, just dented it. I have been axe throwing multiple times and I have never bounced as many axes in my previous times combined at I did her. The woman I was with was not having fun, because I’m watching her axe (the upgraded one with the thinner blade that came with the 90 min package) get good strikes on the wood and bounce off because it was so dull. The bar staff was nice and friendly, but about 25 min in, we hadn’t seen our waitress and I had to go to the bar to get a menu. I asked the staff for a menu, which was provided and asked if I could take it back to the table for the woman that I was with to look at. 10 minutes later we had to go up to the bar to place our order, nobody came over to see if we wanted to place an order. It wasn’t until our food came that people started to check on our drinks. With the Gone Social in Peoria closing I really had high hopes for this place. But it was 90 minutes of picking up our ax off the floor because wouldn’t stick in the wood.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They elevated our experience for our special occasion! The service was outstanding and when axe throwing they offered advice on how to be better.

Great coaching on the axe throwing. A lot of was had by all. Service was a little slow, but very friendly

Super nice staff, plus, axes are awesome. They got ample seating whilst simultaneously giving the axe-thrower's relative privacy. Went for Valentine's date night, 10/10 would recommend.

We had a great time. The service was fantastic and the food was nice. We also loved throwing axes. It was a first for most of the crew and we all had a lot of fun.

The staff work hard to assure everyone has a good time. During the most recent visit they were working with minimal staff as many were already tracking for the Christmas holiday. These guys busted their tails to make sure everyone in the house were waited in and set up. We wanted for nothing at any moment.

Celebrated my sisters 50th birthday with several family and friends. Was a perfect venue for this!

Staff overwhelmed by crowd from UIUC Dad’s w/e. Recommend visiting when not a school event weekend. Limited food menu was surprise vs menu on venue’s website. Even with reservation we had to wait 35 minutes to be seated. Food came out quick but very average. Axe throwing was fun activity though.

Came here for my wife’s birthday and we had a blast. They give you a quick tutorial and then you are free to go, our advice would be to get the 90 mins with all the addons! Great experience and great people!
