   The food was really lovely as was the service. The Manager on duty was really attentive and looked after us very well.

   We got steak & it came a little bit cold & also ordered sweet potatoes fries and they came burnt, I also put in a request for happy birthday dessert but never received it so overall it was an ok experience just could’ve been better

   I had dined and stayed at the Alex Hotel a little over a year ago, then my experience was amazing, now it was very disappointing especially to see how the quality has dropped specifically with the Customer service from Emre whom was rude and unsettling, giving cheeky remarks to us looking to see if our drinks were on the way as they were somewhat delayed, i would say 10 minutes or so waiting for them along with his extensive sigh before he announced any item we ordered as he served it i find it to be disgraceful considering he was a supervisor i suppose ??.all together the experience was very bland, from dirty glasses, cutlery and furniture to the lackluster attitude of the supervisor and the underwhelming quality and over priced value of the food, I had the lamb cutlets which was the highest priced item , it came with 3 small cutlets , 4 large slices of aubergine, a large portion of coucous and a tiny portion of gravy - the dish shouldn’t be advertised as lamb cutlets because it’s simply just a combination of completely different flavours and textures not compatible at all and very very underwhelming , i’d expect a starter to have similar size a portion, not this main course . over all disappointing wouldn’t recommend.

   The place is quite nice, there is plenty of choice and the food was good when it arrived but it took too long to arrive and the service was friendly but slow.

   Nothing at all i can complain about. Most efficient staff I've every seen, all friendly. Service was very quick. Food was amazing, and wasn't even very expensive. The Secret Garden section of the resturaunt is beautiful and so comfortable. It is usually outdoor seating but it was cold so the roof was closed and there are loads of heaters. Very warm. Could not recommend more, especially for dates, because it's not overly focused on the corny candle lit dinner romantic thing. It can defenitly meet that standard but it's perfect for a nice, above casual place to go. Plus complimentary prosecco on valentines day

   No atmosphere at all. It’s like you are in the lobby bar of the restaurant!

   Food menu is limited. Fish and chips was served without peas or salad garnish. Gluten and dairy free guest had soup and side salad for main course, as were no suitable main options. With a half full dining room on Thursday night, presentation etc there is plenty to improve on.

    Food was lukewarm, service was very slow. Second time here, first time food was average, but it was quiet that time, so we tried again. There was xmas parties on but seemed a lack of staff to deal with volume of clients. Also it was freezing cold. Not sure why, though we did ask. They said air conditioning was off. Won’t be back
