The Deck family wanted to create a food experience based on our two favourite things, food and travel, in order to create the type of restaurant that we would want to visit again and again.

The Deck Bar and Grill, Restaurant offers an exciting concept infusing Great British Classics with the vibe and flavours of continental dining. You can enjoy the freshest of local ingredients in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, suitable for all.

We have combined the best tastes and flavours from all of our travelling adventures from: Street Traders in Asia, to Seafood from Europe added to the chargrilled flare from Down Under. We pride ourselves on offering the experience of a laid back lifestyle and atmosphere that comes from enjoying good food among Family & Friends at The Deck in Bude Cornwall….flipflop dining…It’s simple!

Das Ambiente hat uns sehr gefallen. Auch das Essen war super lecker. Die Birger Portion könnte allerdings etwa größer sein, mein Mann ist davon leider nicht satt geworden. Ansonsten tolles Lokal, sehr zu empfehlen.

Lovely vibes, delicious food and lovely view when sat by window. Loved sitting in the corner cove by the window felt very private. Dark fruits cider is delicious Service was 10/10 Thank you

We selected this restaurant as it was stated as 4th best in the Bude area. Goodness knows why. It was like a cafeteria and they did not have the skewers which are on the menu on the website which is why we went there. They obviously did not care as they then told us the business was sold and idk g in a few weeks. Another table left and told us the food was not good so we had a drink,paid and left. Do not recommend

The Deck was not up to its usual standard. One lady having to do everything. Hanging skewers not available, smaller menu. We were told the place has been sold, so I won't be visiting again any time soon. Use to be fab but feel like the buisness is being wound up. Plenty of other places to go.

Lovely food and very friendly staff. I was surprised that guests weren't spread out in the little nook areas a bit more rather than all in the main dining room but perhaps a bit easier to keep an eye on all the tables if in one room. Food for children was great as well (proper food - chicken skewers and veg/chips) and there was colouring available as well as board games to play whilst waiting for food.

I had the homemade tandoori chicken curry, it was outstanding. Service was first class. Great value for money too!

We had a very tasty meal for 4 at the Deck , steaks , fish and chicken . It had been very busy earlier so some burgers were unavailable and there was only one curry left.It didn’t affect our choices . The staff were very good and polite . We enjoyed a very nice bottle of Chenin Blanc . The meal was very filling so we didn’t have puddings but the ones we saw looked delicious . The siding room was full but the tables are not so close that you are disturbed by other diners . Lovely view over the beach at Summerleaze when it’s daylight .
