100% absolutely love the Fox. One of my favourite restaurants in Northampton . The food is always great (Christmas menu was amazing) and the service is wonderful as always!

Gorgeous food, nice staff, lovely pub. Always popular which means parking can be a bit tricky at peak times

We have been to the pub many times and their quality is always good. What I would not recommend is using OpenTable to book anything. When we arrived with a confirmed reservation from OpenTable, the pub had no record of the booking and they were full. The lady at reception said this happens a lot with OpenTable. They struggled to find us a table which was not in the restaurant, but in the small hallway leading into the restaurant. They did their best, but hugely disappointed that OpenTable let us down so badly.

Great food and service as always - restaurant does get busy and fairly loud but that doesn’t affect the service or anything else. Will continue to visit and definitely recommend it

The food was very good and the service was polite and friendly. the only issue was the table we where given, as people watches being on the stairway with the constent flurry of staff walking past meant that our experience this time was not to the normal standard. Should i be seated there again i would rather not eat there. i fully understand a table of 2 should not be sat at a larger table but these two tables remove any ambience the restaurant may have. As i was not given the choice when i booked on line i will not be using that format to book again.

Very prompt reception and service. Everything worked seamlessly without any pressure. Serving staff pleasant and attentive without being overbearing.
